“Millennials” is what we are known for.

We were born in the 21st century and living with


an arousing Science and Technology where inventories are developed, cellular phones exist and
are still developing to achieve their goal, high technology or should I call it “high-tech”.
Even before, Science and Technology were already existing. Not well-known or used but,
existing. The only difference between before and today’s technology is the consumers. Years
ago, if you have cellular phones, TVs, radios, tape recordings, PSPs, and other technology made,
you are privileged.
Science and Technology brought a big impact on society. The way of living has
changed. The people itself has evolved as technology developed. Moreover, it caused a change in
a person’s point of view and influenced our decision-making. Because of different social media
platforms news both fake and real spread. In addition, if world war before happened with shields,
swords, guns, and other fighting weapons today’s time is fully different. Today is a battle of
likes, comments, and shares that boost your post to the nation and world. Posting of opinions and
defense, bashing, and other cyber-attacks happen. It is not the blood that spread on the roads and
daggers but, a thousand and millions and the reactions you gain after you click post. It is not
swords but the words that attack.
On the other hand, there are also a lot of positivity and good things that Science and
Technology brought us. It has given us easier transactions and a way of living. Instead of waiting
for a long time for us to receive letters from our friends and families from afar, we have already
messenger, skype, e-mails, and other platforms that allow us to connect with people who are
miles away. We can be able to gather information in just one click instead of browsing books
that consume a lot of time. Science does not neglect culture and tradition, it just gives us
development and brings us to someone and something we can be. Technology does not give us a
reason to be lazy but rather thought us how to apply what we learned. We must be growing time
after time. Settle for more, be better, and set your standards higher.
