MOVING UP CEREMONIES
(Kindergarten and Grade 10)
Proposed Parts of the Ceremonies:
(This part shall focus on the significance of the ceremony, the school’s
performance and achievements in the last 3 years and the role of the
community in promoting quality basic education as an impact of partnership
and shared governance. This shall be done in not more than 7 minutes.)
VIII. Presentation of the learners moving up to the next grade level by the
department head/academic coordinator
IX. Confirmation by the School Head
(This part shall include important literature of the particular award, including
the criteria in selecting the recipient/s for the award. The literature shall
include relevance of performance to academic achievements.)
(The school head shall wrap up the ceremonies, inspire parents to continue
supporting the education of the children and make relevant announcements
on upcoming school-related activities).

GRADUATION CEREMONIES (Grades 6
and Grade 12)
Parts of the Ceremonies:
(This part shall focus on the significance of the ceremony, the school’s
performance and achievements in the last 5 years and the role of the
community in promoting quality basic education as an impact of partnership
and shared governance. This shall be done in not more than 7 minutes.)
(This part may be delivered either in English or Filipino and may focus on how
the graduate feels on his/her graduation, welcoming the presence of his/her
loved ones, sponsors of the school and the community as witnesses to the
graduation. This shall highlight the value of love and compassion in living
together as one family. This part shall not exceed 7 minutes.)
VII. Reading of the Message of the Secretary – by the highest DepEd official
present in the ceremony
(This part shall include important literature of every award including the
criteria in selecting recipients of the awards. The literature shall include
relevance of performance to academic achievements.)
(This part shall deliver success through a musical celebration reflecting the
inspiration and aspirations of the class. The song shall be of their choice and
shall be properly sung to reflect the quality of music education and
experiences of the learners).

toughest times in human history, yet still embraced education as your primary tool to
success. I believe that with your passion and purpose, you can reach your dreams
and change the world.
