Introduction

I. Background of the Study

Young student entrepreneurs have become more common over the years, especially

in developing nations. Students are using "classrooms" to start businesses as students. and

laboratories as venues, suppliers, and financial aid to create commercial goods, methods ,

or services" (quoted in Hermens & Hermens 2008 by Mars, Slaughter, & Rhoades, 2008).

Student entrepreneurs can now use social media as a platform to interact and connect

with customers as well as sell goods and services. This is a significant development in e-

commerce. A 2018 Pew Research Center study of nearly 750 13- to 17-year-olds revealed

that 97% of them use a social media platform like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or

Snapchat, and 45% of them spend practically all of their time online.

According to a 2016 study by Sieger, Fueglistaller, and Zellweger, 17.5% of

international students who are involved in business activities have parents who are self-

employed or own a small business. Additionally, Sieger et al. (2016) acknowledged the

influences student entrepreneurs pick up inside the setting of universities. According to the

poll, students' entrepreneurial activity increases as they become more involved. Activities and

products are, the more successful their business is the intentions of the user."ongoing

engagement in relevant activities and interaction.

The focus of this research is to perceive the effects of social media on the

marketing strategies of grade 12 entrepreneurs of selected ABM students. The

this research are to become acquainted with the effects of social media to ABM students

and provide them with the they require.

ll. Statement of the Problem

The main problem of this research are the effects of social media to the marketing

strategies of grade 12 entrepreneurs of selected ABM students at Emiliano Tria Tirona

Memorial National Integrated High School.

This research study aims to answer these specific following questions:

1. Which would they prefer to get more information about a company/product to use a

social media or the one physically offering?

2. What are the advantages of using social media?

3. What is the impact of social media on your marketing?
