1. Overview
This document describes implemented changes in SW version 2.003 for APP 411, and FPG 414.

3. Product description
The APP 411 is a controller and the FPG 414 is a gateway, used in a Concertor wastewater pumping system.
4. General changes
New functionality in Concertor XPC with web-HMI:
• Start pumping cycle
o This feature enables the user to start a pumping cycle from the Home view in the HMI.
Improvements:
• Number of pump starts is now read from machine with higher frequency
• Added one common software version number for the ICS, called ICS Version
• “Automatic pump cleaning” is now controlled by the setting “clog detection” in order to harmonize
terminology with other Xylem products.
Changes:
• The text “Calculated flow” has been replaced by “Calculated inflow” as the text gives more clarity.
5. Known issues
When FPG 414 is configured as an Extended I/O the alarm LED’s are not working as intended.

6. Compatibility
The APP 411 controller, version 2.003, is compatible with the FPG 414 gateway, version 2.003.
We strongly recommend that all controllers, gateways and Extended IO Units connected to the same HMI or
Modbus master have the SW version 2.003 installed.
Upgrade
The upgrade shall be performed with HMI update process - The upgrade of a FPG 414 or APP 411 shall be
done by connecting an HMI and navigate to the update menu.
Complete system (APP 411 together with FPG 414)

To upgrade a complete system with same software version of the APP 411 and backplane connected FPG
414 is possible, the FPGs are automatically updated trough the backplane. It’s also possible to upgrade
connected FPGs with lower version than the APP 411.

However to upgrade a complete system with an APP 411 with lower version than the backplane connected
FPG’s with different software versions is not possible.

In above example the APP 411 and FPG 414 with version 1.903 has to be upgraded before the FPG 414 with
version 2.003 is installed with the complete system (see below example).

HMI
This release of SW is compatible with FOP 315 version 2.005 and the FOP 4X2 or a Chrome web browser.
Upgrade FOP315 from a controller or a gateway

To upgrade: The compatible FOP315 software version is present in the gateway or controller. Navigate to the
software update settings in the FOP315. The controller or gateway will automatically update the FOP315 to
the latest software version.
7. Upgrade recommendation
We recommend to always keep the system up to date in accordance with a local maintenance plan.
This is a minor software update.
8. Testing and test results

Complete system and integration testing, approved by Xylem R&D for release for Flygt globally
