Experiment 6 tested multiple wireless communication using switches and a hub to connect 6 PCs in a network without wires. A second part of the experiment used 2 routers connected by a crossover wire to provide wireless connectivity between 2 mobile phones, 1 tablet on each router, demonstrating wireless networking through routers. The experiment showed how switches, hubs and routers can establish wireless networks to connect multiple devices without wires.

Multiple wireless communication using a switch

Procedure :

In this experiment we used 3 switches , 1 hub and 6 PCs. We made a multiple wireless
connection using cross over or straight wire. Here PC0 is connected with switch 1, PC1
is connected with switch 2, PC2 , PC3 is connected with switch 3 , PC4 , PC 5 is
connected with Hub.
ii) Observation of wireless networking using a router(WRT300N)

Procedure :

We can connect multiple devices using Router. Router connect devices without wire so it’s a
wireless device .Here we used 2 routers , they are connected with each other by crossover wire.
1st router is connected with 2 mobile phones & 1 tab and so is router 2.
