Granny Go Round Jumper – Scoop neck add - on

Please note – this is not the Granny Go Round Jumper pattern. It is an add-on for an
alternative neckline, to accompany the original pattern. You will still need to purchase the
original pattern to complete the rest of the jumper. This covers rows 1–7 of the yoke only.

You will need:

- Dk weight yarn in 4 colours as suggested in the Granny Go Round Jumper pattern
- 4mm hook (or hook needed to achieve correct tension)
- Stitch markers

Tension: 5 x 3tr groups = 10cm & 11 rows = 10cm in granny stitch

Hook size: 4mm.
Skill level: Intermediate
Abbreviations - this pattern is written in UK crochet terms:
ch = chain tr = treble crochet
st(s) = stitch(es) rs = right side
sp(s) = space(s) ws = wrong side
sl st = slip stitch rep = repeat
dc = double crochet dc2tog = double crochet two stitches together

Instructions for the 8 sizes are given as follows: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL). Circle your size
throughout. Refer to the size chart on the Granny Go Round Jumper pattern to establish your
size.

Fig 14 Fig 15

Working the 3tr groups across the centre front End round 7

Tip: If you wish to taper the body so it is narrower at the waistline, you can use the same decrease method used on the shoulders:
Work your body round as normal until you are directly under the centre of the underarm. Work a 2tr group. Continue to work your 3tr groups
as normal until you are at the centre of the underarm on the other side. Work another 2tr group. Complete your round as normal. Begin your
next round as normal. When you reach the 2tr groups, miss the sp before them, work a 3tr group into the centre of the 2tr group, and miss the
sp after them. Continue your round as normal. You will have decreased by 2 3tr groups. If you need to decrease further Leave at least 5 rounds
before starting this process again. Always check it still fits over your shoulders.
