When using much number of connection, there is a tendency for load to become large, by delay of the
signal transfer from the preceding stage unit in the last stage unit.
Since a drive signal is connectable with the input terminal (i1, i2) from one set (o1, o2) of an output
terminal to two sets, connect a slave unit to make three stages into a maximum.
(A slave unit is connectable to 14 sets to one master unit.)

Distribution should connect two signal lines collectively with either the output terminal (o1, o2) of the
upper stage, or a latter input terminal (i1, i2).
Example(3)

Choose the wiring route that wiring length becomes shorter, because if a wiring is long, it will malfunction
by electrical noise.
1-2.About wiring
①Give the length of a drive signal line as 1.5m or less.
②Without comparing with the main circuit electric wire, especially a power line, and wiring, detach as
much as possible and wire.

2-1.Connection with FRENIC 5000G11/P11 and VG7
External alarm has detected interception of the wiring course by the following.
・ The operation of the contact by unusual detection (fuse disconnection, abnormalities in an IGBT
electrical connection) of a braking unit
・The detection by braking resistor overheating

Alarm detection is carried out also within the braking unit, and even if the braking unit is normal, if braking
resistor overheating and other units become unusual, the drive of a braking resistor will be stopped.
This alarm detection is used by the photo-coupler, and voltage fall of about 1 V occurs.
If there is much number of connection, the turning-on-electricity current of a wiring course runs short for
the voltage fall in a braking unit, and there is a possibility of incorrect-detecting external alarm.
When you use the digital signal input of FRENIC5000G11/P11 and VG7, carry out the unit linked to one
terminal to three sets.

When you divide with the group containing a master, and the group of only a slave, and you connect, and
failure occurs into the group of only a slave, construct a sequence to disconnect contact of the group
containing the master.
Otherwise, when failure occurs into the group of only a slave, into the group containing the master, there is
a possibility of operation being continued and becoming an electrical overload.
