1. a) A LITTLE INTRODUCTION ABOUT
MYSELF:

My name is Intan Dayana binti Salihudin, and after graduating from UiTM
Shah Alam with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (Hons) Electronic ,
I’ve been offered as Project Engineer in EPCC Solar company, Samaiden
Group Berhad. I’ve been working almost 5 years 9 months in Samaiden
Sdn Bhd starting from Project Engineer till promoted to Assistant
Manager. However, in July 2022, I’ve resigned from Samaiden and
currently working as Senior Technical Engineer at Fabulous Sunview
Sdn Bhd. The main reason for leaving the managerial position is to
develop my technical skills and to get involve in project execution of
132kV project as I want to be a great manager which have a balance
technical knowledge as well the management skills.
MY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Samaiden Group Berhad
a. Project Engineer (2016-2018)
▪ Work independently as a project engineer to planning & design Photovoltaic system.
▪ Managing and leading home solar rooftop solar project for Feed-In Tariff (FiT) by SEDA.
▪ Asist in managing and leading commercial rooftop solar project for Feed-In Tariff (FiT) by SEDA.
▪ Perform site T&C and handover with relevant authorizes and client.
▪ Prepare and compile paperwork related to projects, authority submission, sales proposal, tender and client management.
▪ Provide summary reports on quotations, invoices, purchase order and others for management

b. Senior Engineer (2019-2020)


▪ Responsible on technical feasibility study of solar Photovoltaic (PV) system.
▪ Specialized in CAD software to design solar PV layout drawing, MV single line diagram (MVSLD) and LV single line diagram
(LVSLD).
▪ Lead detailed construction designs activities including necessary engineering calculation, simulation and drawings production to meet
client’s requirements, project specifications and relevant standard.
▪ Responsible to produce the documentation work of the project and communicate with the related authority regarding the application
submission, liaison, registration and approval process.
▪ Managing and leading Energy Commission (EC) Large Scale Solar (LSS) 3.0 tender preparation, compilation and submission.

c. Assistant Manager (2021- June 2022)


▪ Assist the manager in providing direction and technical expertise in design, development and system integration.
▪ Assist the manager in maintaining the BOQ with updates from suppliers.
▪ Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions and implement
efficiency improvements.
▪ Responsible for design and optimize the cost-effective detailed engineering design for Project Execution.
▪ Managing and leading Energy Commission (EC) Large Scale Solar (LSS) 4.0 tender preparation, compilation and submission.
MY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd


a. Senior Technical Engineer (June 2022-Present)
• To provide technical support and to guide Technical Engineer in all projects.
• To lead and motivate the Technical Engineer Team member and convey the message to Technical Manager if the
issue could not be resolved.
• To discuss with supplier, consultant, client and project team in order to provide solution to the problem arise.
• To equipped with necessary Solar & Electrical knowledge including but not limited to Solar Scheme, DC system, AC
system, equipment selection, electrical protection system, SCADA system, metering system, earthing and lightning
protection, lighting, small power system, CCTV system etc.
• To prepare and conduct feasibility study including PVSyst study, shading analysis, bill quantity, engineering drawings,
technical report, tender evaluation report, product evaluation report and replies to technical queries for LSS projects.
• Technical in charge for 2x50MWac LSS projects and 1x10MWac LSS project.

1. b) What do you consider to be your strengths in the work environment (e.g. decisive,
good communicator, assertive, good at empathising, good listener, etc)

MY STRENGTH

My time management and organizational skills are my greatest strengths.


I'm capable of juggling multiple projects at the same time. At my last job, I
was typically assigned to be team lead on team assignments due to my
ability to adhere to deadlines and keep track of the team’s progress.

I’m also passionate in completing the task given by the management. No


matter how hard the job is, I will try my best to deliver it.

Other than that, I’m a good at empathizing and a good listener team
leader. When my colleagues or subordinate have a problems, I’ll take the
time to listen to the things so that I can understanding how they think and
feel.
3) What previous experience do you have of managing projects?

In my role as Engineer and Assistant manager for Samaiden Group
Berhad , I frequently work simultaneously on multiple tasks mainly to
