Step - 1 Go to the website - ​https://www.mongodb.com/try/download/community

Step - 2 The community server tab will already be selected. Else click on the tab. After that click on
Download

Step - 3 - Once downloaded, you can go to your Downloads folder and launch the program

Step - 4 - Keep clicking Next until you reach the following window. Choose Complete

Step - 5 After that the following window pops up. ​Uncheck ​the​ “​Install MongoD as a Service​”
checkbox

Step - 6 Then it asks you to install MongoDB compass along with the server. Keep the box checked
or unchecked as per your choice.

Step - 7 Finally you’ll get this message and you’re ready to install it on your machine.

Click on Install and you’re good to go.
