    The forms + meanings!
    ● I was going to the party. = Subject + To Be ( past)+ going to + object = Intended
    plans that are unfulfilled , because we expected them to happen but didn’t. =

    ● They were supposed to come at 6pm. = Subject + To Be ( past) + supposed to +


    verb ( inf) + object = The past of supposed to be can mean either what was
    expected to happen DID happen , or didn’t happen or won’t happen / = Kimberly
    was supposed to send the report this morning. / We were supposed to meet here.
    = Expectation

    ● It’s supposed to be cold. = Subject + To Be (present) + supposed to + be + object =


    expresses what people expect to happen or not happen / We’re supposed to work
    tomorrow / We’re not supposed to have a meeting today. = ALWAYS IN THE
    PRESENT

    be + object = expresses what someone should or shouldn’t do. / Carl is

    How can we form a sentence or a question using the phrasal verbs +
    Phrasal-prepositional verbs?

    ● She couldn’t get away with faking her ID = get away with is in the middle of
    the sentence, proceeded by the subject+ modal verb and followed by the
    object

    ● I’m very tired. What time do you get off work? = get off in the middle of the
    sentence, proceeded by auxiliary + subject and followed by the objet
    Conclusion!!

    ● NEVER seperate the phrasal verbs and the phrasal-prepositional verbs with
    ( GET) in any sentence or question.

    ● Both phrasal verbs and phrasal-prepositional verbs are always in the middle
    of the sentence proceeded by the subject + verb/ modal verb and
    followed by the object.
