1.8 Turbo Gasoline

The 1.8 Turbo engine is based on the phenomenally


successful unit used in most of the Volkswagen
Group brands that has been developed into one of
the most reliable and respected sub 2.0ltr engines
in current production. With variable valve timing,
turbo charger and intercooler this solution provides
enviable power and torque throughout the rev range.

1.8 Turbo Gasoline with Transverse transmission The engine is available with 5 & 6 speed in line or

transverse transmissions also from Volkswagen
Group or as a power unit solution on it's own.

The power-train is supplied as a kit with all parts


required from air box to tail pipe. This makes chassis
integration less complex and saves you time and
money by reducing the number of suppliers you
have to deal with.
