• Copies of Crane Inspections, Crane Operator Certificate, Rigger Certificate and all related
Documents are to be included with this Lift Permit.

Objectives :

a) Personnel to maintain safer distance when lifting operation in progress.


b) None of the personnel to come below the immediate lift area and carry out works when lifting
in progress.
c) Barricade the area away from radius of lifting equipment and provide sign board.
d) Make lifting plan(If necessary) and permit prior to lifting and follow lifting operation permit
system.
e) Competent person must be assigned for all lifting activities.
f) Two tag lines must be provided during lifting on all occasion.
g) Visible “edge line” contact between rigger and crane operator should be maintained on all
occasion.
h) All lifting accessories should be inspected before lifting.
i) Use proper PPE while working at height.
j) The crane must have valid certification through third party.
k) Only one signal man should give signal at a time.
l) Hand off from pinch point when setting the material or container.
m) Outrigger pad must provide on both paved and unpaved areas.
n) Sling should be protected with softener at sharp edge.
o) Formal assessment of the weight to be lifted must be established prior to lift.
