Introduction

• Today best way of buying anything is easy via online, if we want to buy a plants
online this facility is not available in the small towns.

• In the E-Nursery project the today’s best way of buying anything is easy via online, if
we want to buy a plants online this facility is not available in the small towns.

• By using our web application we are able to buy online nursery product via internet.

Existing system

• The existing system is totally manual.

• All the existing systems are all handwritten by the owner of the nursery.

• There is loss of data about the customer.

• Not able to update all the details about the plants.

• Maintain all data records on paper.

• Due to the manual process, it requires more time for the completion of any work.
Need for the system

• Minimizing the keeping of manual records.

• Minimal data entry as most of the data will be fetched from the database
automatically.

• The user-friendly system contains a Graphical User Interface.

• Data reliability.

• Examine the respective roles and effectiveness of the private and public sector in the
tree nursery sector.

• Implement local level policy changes in conjunction with pilot test strategies to
increase the economic viability of the nursery sector.

Scope of the system


• Can be used at any time as it is web based application.

• Maintain nursery items and Customers records.

• It provides employment opportunities for technical, skilled, semi-skilled, unskilled


labour.

• Provide a platform to the customer where they can put their queries related to the
products, orders, training, and many more.

• The E-Nursery System that is to be developed provides the training on different


subjects, i.e., the owner of the nursery can schedule different kinds of training on
different subjects related to the nursery and customers can take benefit of that.

• Maintain feedback of the customers.

• The products are not available is not available in the video format.

• You cannot track your order through the system.


Objectives of the system
