“Tell me about yourself?

“I am an ambitious and driven individual. I thrive in a goal-
oriented environment where I can constantly challenge
myself personally and professionally. I am always looking for
an opportunity to do better and grow. These characteristics
have helped me achieve success in my career.”

“Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”

"After looking into your hospital, I see that there is a lot of
area for growth, which made me excited to apply for this role.
In 5 years, I hope to have more responsibilities and be a part
of helping the company reach its maximum potential. And I
can see myself further developing my skill set in this role and
even more confident in this field, with more knowledge and
experiences.”

"What Makes You a Good Candidate for This Position?"

“What is your strength”
"As a newly registered nurse, I believe my own nursing skill is
a valuable asset to my work. I am a highly organized person,
which makes me manage my time effectively. I am also
approachable, so I feel confident to hadle both patients
concern and needs. I am also very adaptable and flexible. If
there is sudden changes in the workplace, I am quick and
willing to comply to the new situation.”

Are you open to working nights and mornings?

"Yes, I am comfortable working nights and mornings. At my
previous related learning experience, I worked on a rotational
shift where I worked the night shift for three weeks, followed
by the morning shift the next, and so on."

What’s your proudest achievement?

It is when I achieved good grades in my quizzes and exams
and able to finish my bachelor degree in a well-known
nursing school. I know nursing career is a huge responsibility
but I know I will do very well.

Why did you decide to become a nurse?

“When I was young I always admire nurse and till now I still
see them as is. I know this career is very rewarding. Stepping
into someone’s life at the low moments and being a part and
making a difference to their experience is an incredible
privilege.

How do you handle stress?

“I’m stay calm and focus on the bigger picture and break
down my projects into smaller tasks. I always remind myself,
“What is my goal and what I’m trying to achieve?” From
there, I make a list of action items with deadlines. With that I
made a significant progress and handle the stress for that
situation.”

What is your work style?

“I can adapt to any workplace. While working alone, I try to
work at an organized pace to complete tasks on schedule.
However, I also enjoy working in a team. Being in a team
requires collaborating with each other in order to deliver a
quality care for our patient. But normally, I would've been able
to handle the project on my own, but it would've taken more
time. When I work alone, I prefer to get feedback from my
supervisor. It's often difficult to assess one's work objectively,
so I value the input of my seniors and colleagues. And I know
the constant feedback has helped me become a more
refined professional nurse, who delivers better results.”

What do you think makes a good nurse?

Competence and confidence in what they are doing. They
should be caring, compassionate, empathetic, sympathetic
and committed to their job. They should have good
communication skills, courage to advocate for their patients
and speak out when things are going wrong. And I believe I
possess all of this.

“What is your weaknesses?”

"I think my weakness is I prefer working independently
because it has the advantage of giving me room to focus and
stay productive throughout the day. I understand that it
would've taken more time and will put me in the position to
require me to initiate projects independently. But with the
experience, attention to detail and motivation to succeed, I
am confident that this role will overcome my weakness."

Why did you choose this hospital?

Why do you want to work here?
“Your company has been around for several years, you’ve
never wavered from your mission to give people a
comfortable and quality patient care. The hospital has always
been forward-focused when it comes in providing high quality
service which helps improve customer experience. When I
began looking for a position, I purposefully sought out
companies that are committed to integrity, philanthropy and
innovation, and as a result your company ranks at the top of
the list.”
