I.OBJECTIVES
At the end of 50-minute discussion, the pupils are
expected to do the following with at least 85% level of
accuracy

A. Content Standards Recognize common action word in a sentence.

B. Performance Objective Work cooperatively in the given exercises as a group.

C. Learning Competencies/ Objectives Sustain interest in studying an action words which is verb.

IV. PROCEDURES

A. Preparation Good morning class (Good morning teacher Janice)


Kindly arrange your chairs and pick pieces of papers, after
that you may have a seat. Are you ready for today’s lesson
class? (Yes we are) very good. Before we start with our
discussion, let me ask you this. What is on the board?
(there are mice. Exactly. I have here pictures of cheese.
These cheese will serve as your points. To gain points, what
are the things that you should do? (participate actively in
class discussion, do not make unnecessary noise,
cooperate). Great. If you will misbehave, I will remove a
cheese from your group. Is that clear? (Yes Teacher).

B. Motivation of the lesson I will group you now into four. Please count
from 1 to 4. The first one to group themselves
without creating noise will gain points. Group 1 will
be here, group 2 will be in this side, group 3 will be
on the other side and group 4 will be at the back.
Now I want you to go your group in just 10 counts.

Do you want to play class? (yes teacher). We’ll be


going to have a game. I will call 1 pupil; she will be going to
flash several pictures. All you have to do is to guess if what
is being done in the picture. But I don’t want you to shout
while answering. If you want to answer, just raise your
group number. The group that will raise first will be given
the opportunity to answer. Are you ready? (Yes teacher).
