    A Solution for Dan
    Dan Stuart lives in a block of flats in the city. He does not have friends at school, he does not
    do sports and he does not play outdoors. After school and at weekends, he plays computer games
    and watches TV for many hours. His mother is angry; he rarely does his chores and he never plays
    with boys of his age. Dan’s mother has read that children who live in cities do not get as much
    exercise as they should. They rarely do anything active. Many kids in cities do not go to PE classes
    or do not do any exercise during the breaks.
    Dan’s mother knows how to make her son more active. She telephones her cousin Maria
    who lives in the country. She asks Maria if she and Dan can stay with them in the summer. Her
    cousin thinks it is a good idea. She has a large family. All the family members live an active life.
    Her husband is a tractor driver and her four children walk two miles to school. They all have
    chores to do and they help each other. They also play many games together and have a lot of fun.
