 Polytechnic Foundational Programme (PFP)
What:
• A one-year foundation year for well-performing N(A) students
• In place of Secondary 5
• Practice-oriented curriculum held at poly
• Taught by poly lecturers.
• Pass all modules before progressing to pre-selected diploma
course.
• Assessments may take the form of coursework assignments,
projects, written tests and/or end-of-year semester exams.
• 1500 (up from 1200 previously) places set aside every year
• >80% of Poly courses offered under PFP.

 Sec 4N(A) student who has sat for GCE N-Level 2019

 Obtained ELMAB3 (English, Math, 3 Best subjects)

raw aggregate of 12 points or less (excl. CCA bonus
points)

 Obtained Grade 3 or better for all subjects used in

the computation of your ELMAB3 aggregate
(Note: Certain PFP courses require an EL grade of 2.)
