**Reminders: In particular, if our guest speaker's talk is still being spoken, please turn off
your microphones while not in use. When called upon to speak, only unmute your mics.
Be careful not to spam our chat box with remarks. We also ask for your full involvement.
Thank you for cooperating!

(1-minute mark before starting)

Nicole: Please standby for our doxology!

(8:00 – 8:10AM) **Doxology, National Anthem**

Nicole: Good morning, students! I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of you
to Day 2 of our COE-mputer 2022: EdTech Tools Webinar in line with the celebration of
our Education Week with the theme, “Transforming Education and Developing Future
Educators through Innovative Solutions of the 21st Century.” Your loving host for the day
is me, Nicole, from II-ENGLISH.
Knowing that you may all benefit greatly from this webinar, I couldn't be
happier to be sharing this moment with you. And of course, with the assistance of our
own College’s Student Council, we have the chance to develop and learn! In light of the
foregoing, permit me to thank everyone whose efforts made this program possible. Give
them a hearty round of applause!
**applause**
(if any professor is present)
Nicole: Furthermore, I'd want to recognize the following individuals for being present
with us today:
- Professor Jonathan Bonaobra
- Professor … ;
- And of course, College of Education Dean, Atty. Cecilio D. Duka

Nicole: We are happy to have you participate in this webinar!

8:15 – 8:20AM : Opening Remarks ( Mr. Aries P. Miranda, Chairperson, College

of Education – Student Council)

(Before Opening Remarks)

Nicole: Before we formally start this webinar, allow me to extend a sincere welcome
to Mr. Aries P. Miranda, the Chairperson of our Student Council here in our college,
College of Education, who is one of the most dedicated and lovely people I know.

8:20 – 8:30AM
(After Opening Remarks)
Nicole: Undoubtedly, that was really emotional, Mr. Miranda! Everything you just
told us will definitely be noted by us!
So, again, I am pleased to welcome all of you to Day 2 of our webinar series titled,
“EdTech Tools 2022, our topic for today will revolve around Microsoft Sway, entitled,
Easway:An Easy Explanation of Microsoft Sway”, which aims to hone our skills as
future teachers.
Now that that has been said, let's get to the key items on our event's program. I'd
like to now introduce the speaker for this Webinar!

• Our guest speaker took a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Lyceum

of the Philippines University and finished her Certificate in Teaching Program at
Meycauayan College.

• As a licensed professional teacher, she currently handles Empowerment

Technology, Media and Information Literacy, and Robotics. Currently, she is the
Content Lead for the Technology and Community Development of the LPU-SHS
Department.

• She is also appointed as one of the pioneer Course Instruction Developers for
myLPU Learning Management System. She was also a delegate to Blackboard's
Teaching and Learning Conference Asia 2019 held in Seoul, South Korea.
• Being a Microsoft Certified Educator and Microsoft Office Specialist, she is also a
candidate for Microsoft Ambassadorship. She has been actively involved in
training DepEd teachers from Mt. Province, Rizal, Zambales, Mindoro, and
Palawan on maximizing teaching with technology.

• She is appointed as one of the Quality Chairs of Community Outreach and

Service Learning (COSeL) in LPU-Manila and recently awarded Outstanding
Faculty Extensionist. Also, formerly LPU SHS' adviser of the League of Outreach
Volunteers and Engaged Students (LOVES) co-organizing events, outreach, and
immersion for LPU's partner communities.
Examining the chemistry of the achieving person reveals two additional distinct
qualities in addition to perseverance and hard work. These are the willingness and
pioneering spirit. Our speaker today is the living idiom of a woman who just so
happened to be born in the ideal circumstances. It was therefore not surprising that
she has accomplished all of them given her impressive background.
I am pleased to present to all of you our guest speaker for today’s webinar, let us
all welcome, Ms. Josefina A. Lazaro!

8:30 – 10:00AM : Presentation Proper

10:00 – 10:05AM : Short Break
Nicole: Okay, students, we are giving you a short 5-minute break. Make sure to
come back after 5 minutes because our webinar is not yet over. There are still a lot
of things to learn. See you again after 5 minutes!

10:05 – 10:10AM : Intermission Number

Nicole: Before proceeding to the continuation of our webinar, we would first have
an intermission number.

10:10 – 11:10AM : Continuation

11:10 – 11:25AM : Acknowledgements & Raffles
Nicole: Thank you for that wonderful and knowledgeable talk, Ms. Lazaro, I together
with my co-students, sincerely appreciate it. We feel incredibly honored and
delighted to have shared this time with you since we all learned something very
valuable from you! After this webinar, I'm confident that we students will be able to
put all you taught us to use for our upcoming research-related projects!
**initiate Q&A or Open Forum**
Nicole: Speaking of something extremely rewarding, I know that any event wouldn't
be finished and a success if we just let this chance slip away. So, enough already—I
can feel everyone in this room getting pumped for the raffle draw! After saying that,
permit me to once more turn the podium over to Ms. Jenel Martinez and Ms. Patricia
Anne Valdez, our game masters! Give it to our overlords, please!
11:25 – 11:45AM **initiate Q&A or Open Forum**
Nicole: Once more, a big thank you to our game masters, Ms. Jenel Martinez and
Ms. Patricia Anne Valdez. There is no better way to conclude this webinar than by
giving our participants the impression that they not only learned new information
but also received rewarding prizes.
In keeping with the theme of happiness, let's close our webinar on a high note
by, of course, awarding our guest speaker with a certificate or token of
appreciation!
11:45 – 11:50 **read the certificate’s content**

Nicole: Please accept my sincere gratitude, Ms. Josefina Lazaro. We hope to see you
and hear from you again soon! Good luck with your future endeavors!
And now, in order to formally conclude our Webinar, allow me to hand the
podium over to our very own College of Education – Vice Chairperson, Mr. Guesler
T. Teodoro, for the closing remarks.

11:50 – 11:55AM : Closing Remarks

Nicole: Thank you, Mr. Guesler Teodoro, for your kind remarks! We'll look forward
to more of our Student Council’s activities for sure! And last but not least, thank you
to the participants and the rest of the team for making this webinar a success!
Let me also use this opportunity to remind you everyone to complete the post-
Evaluation form that is included in this chat box. In order for us to better serve you
in the future, please share with us your most frank thoughts about this webinar!
Finally, before this webinar comes to an end, I'd like to urge everyone to please
turn on their cameras for a quick photo opportunity.
This is the COE-mputer 2022: EdTech Tools Webinar, “Transforming Education and
Developing Future Educators through Innovative Solutions of the 21st Century. I'm
