LATEST VOLVO BY
DNA IS ON ITS WAY
LOOKING stunning in silver, the soon-to-be-released limited edition
(299 pieces) 1/18 scale Volvo V70 R P80, from DNA Collectibles will
also be available in Saffron Gold (399), Red (299) and Black (299).
Each model will be individually numbered, as usual.
This is DNA's fourth release of the V70, Volvo's successor to its
hugely popular 850. The version modelled on this ocasion will be
the 1998 first generation. Each of the colourways will feature a fully-
detailed interior in black, superbly-replicated alloy wheels and super-
realistic light lenses.
Priced at just £150.99, and due to start shipping towards the end of
NORTHCORD Model Company has announced the release of UK6528, the the year, pre-orders can be placed now to ensure that you don't miss

London, produced in unique London red livery. UK6528 represents fleet
number 11035 (SN18 KUB) that has 10.3 metre, dual-door bodywork and
was new to Stagecoach London in 2018. 11035 has a Euro6 smart hybrid
driveline, together with an innovative high resolution LED destination
display. The model carries the roof fleet number SCG 11035. This bus is
based at Stagecoach London’s West Ham Garage where it operates on busy
route 474 which runs between Canning Town and Manor Park.
Buses running on the streets of London used to have the traditional roller
destination blinds in order to suit the complicated service network in the
city. With the popularity of electronic destination blinds in other cities all
over England, Scotland and Wales, London buses are keeping the roller sign
until the introduction of high resolution LED signs produced by Hanover.
With the significantly increased number of LEDs on the new signs, the
text displayed appears as continuous screen printing, rather than as a dot
matrix. The integrity of the chosen font is maintained and, even in poor
weather conditions such as heavy rain, or in bright sunshine, the legibility of
the sign remains excellent. The special, comprehensive high resolution LED
destination blind is 100% reproduced onto the UK6528 model.
The Alexander Dennis Enviro400H MMC UK6528 is a one-piece casting
2001 HONDA CIVIC
whose clean lines accentuate the square-cornered, patented quick-release
windows of the real bus and the livery application on which all logos and
lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UK6528 model
TYPE-R HEADS UP
is its individual tree protector at the front. The front dome on the model is
significant, with curved windscreens on both upper deck and lower deck.

even had a short holiday staying on a farm in Norfolk,

Linares, Andalucia, Spain started making
farm equipment, and, in 1956, negotiated
a deal with Rover to build Land Rovers
under licence. These were sent out in CKD
(‘completely knocked down’) form and assembled
by what became known as the Santana Motor

and developed variants suited to the needs of the
local market, and this continued after the formal
arrangement with Land Rover came to end in in the
early 1980s.
As toy companies tend to favour vehicles made
in their country of origin, it was natural that Land
Rovers would appear in model form from different
makers such as Rico, Sanchis, Karpan and Anguplas,
