I. FAITH
A. Piety
1. Manifests a strong sense and experience of God’s loving presence developed through
reflection and prayer (e.g. angelus, grace before and after meals, prayer before
sleeping and rising, praying the rosary, visits to the Blessed Sacrament, etc.)
2. Involves the guidance of the Holy Spirit before making critical decisions.
3. Acts reverently in church and other places of worship and prayer and cares for
religious signs and symbols with utmost respect.
5. Uses the name of God reverently in prayer or casual conversation; shows wholesome.
Clean and refined habits of speech and action.
2. Seeks to understand and uphold what is righteous and just as proclaimed in Church
documents (e.g. Documents of Vatican II, PCP II documents, Papal Encyclicals, etc.)
3. Shows understanding of and support for the social teachings of the Church.
5. Seizes opportunities for Catholic evangelization and catechesis through Bible studies,
prayer meetings, retreats, recollections, Catechetical instruction, etc.
C. Humility
3. Respects and obeys the guidance of the Church hierarchy on moral, ethical and social
issues.
4. Accepts respect, cooperation and obedience to duly designated leaders and persons in
authority.
D. Joy
3. Proclaims joyfully the good that God does for and through people.
4. Gives honest praise and appreciation for the good done by others.
A. Charity
2. Shares unconditionally and generously one’s talents, time and resources for those in
need.
4. Protects the good name of others by not resorting to gossiping and rumor mongering.
5. Exercises prudence, good judgment, and self-control in receiving and giving feedback.
B. Prudence
1. Evaluates and reflects on any work done before taking further action.
3. Respects the counsel and direction offered by proper authorities particularly on moral
and ethical issues.
4. Shows positive values and refined habits of speech and action in social interactions.
C. Empathy
4. Shows respect and support for those with disabilities and handicaps.
D. Unity
1. Contributes to the well-being of the family and helps create and maintain a family-like
climate in the school community.
A. Integrity
1. Takes decisive action against all forms of dishonesty and unethical conduct as shown
in observing intellectual honesty, returning lost objects, correcting wrongdoing, etc.
5. Refuse consistently to compromise truth for personal gain or to use authority and
relationships for exploitative and immoral pursuits.
B. Competence
1. Acknowledges faith in Jesus Christ as the source of human knowledge and values.
2. Shows love for assiduous learning through reflexive inquiry, research, etc.
3. Pursues high achievement standards in everything one does neatly, completely and
accurately.
4. Reflects on links between knowledge and current realities and takes appropriate action
to support transformational change.
1. Promotes concern and protection for women, children and the disadvantaged against
physical, verbal, and moral abuse.
2. Acknowledges and champions the struggles of the poor, depressed, oppressed, and
exploited for more humane existence.
D. Courage
1. Takes a courageous stand and supports the position of the Catholic Church on current
issues on morality and social justice.
4. Offers active support for the victims and survivors of violence, exploitation and
oppression.
5. Stays kind and friendly even when confronted with rejection, hostility or unfavorable
judgment.
A. Discipline
4. Shows refinement, propriety and orderliness in dealing with superiors, peers and
others.
B. Dependability
1. Makes oneself available for service where and when needed.

inspires others to do likewise.
1. Conserves water and energy, uses, re-uses and recycles materials properly.
2. Supports actively advocacy programs for the care and protection of the environment.

D. Community Involvement
1. Gives generous financial support for amelioration programs for the poor.
2. Appreciates the rich cultural diversities of Filipinos and promotes the best of Filipino
customs and traditions.
3. Works to liberate self and others from the influences of mediocrity, complacency, and
cynicism.
4. Supports the building of Basic Ecclesial Christian Communities.
