EMERGENCY OPERATING PROCEDURE (EOP) FOR INCINERATOR TOXIC GASES

DURING INCINERATOR OPERATION (HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, QATAR)

Objective:-
To act as a guide for aiding LINC FACILITY
SERVICES management /coordinators in
their efforts to develop and maintain a
viable all-hazard emergency operation
plan during incinerator operation.

It provides an approach to emergency

management (mitigation, preparedness,
response, and recovery phases) for the
purpose of eliminating or minimizing the
disruptions affecting a facility’s operations.

LINC FACILITY SERVICES recognizes that not

all emergency anticipation is possible. GM
or in his absence HODs shall direct such
action as he may deem necessary.

PROJECT 02 - AMBIENT AIR QUALITY MONITORING AT FABCON
INDUSTRIAL SERVICES FZ LLC
Project Description:-
Particulate matter in ambient air is defined by
USEPA as an air-suspended mixture of both solid
and liquid particles.

When one talks about PM10, one is referring to

particles smaller than 10 microns size.

Often separated into three classifications coarse,

fine and ultrafine particles.

Coarse particles have a diameter of between 10

-2.5 µ and settle relatively quickly whereas fine (1
to 2.5 µ) and ultrafine (<1 µ) particles remain in
suspension for a longer duration.

NOISE LEVEL MONITORING AT FABCON INDUSTRIAL SERVICES FZ LLC
Objective:-
The continuous monitoring was conducted at different locations at fabcon
industry.

Monitor the noise level at a particular site.

The data generated by the method shall be evaluated based on the

prescribed noise level standards.

Determine how the sound pressure level generated from a source varies

with distance.

Identify areas at risk of NIHL (Noise Induced Hearing Loss).

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing noise control procedures.

AMBIENT AIR QUALITY MONITORING AND NOISE MONITORING AT PRISMANE
(i) Ambient air
CHEM FZC, UAE
Ambient air was checked for the following parameters at one
location, downwind of the proposed filtration unit, and inside
the plant:
a) Respirable dust, less than 10 microns
b) Respirable dust less than 2.5 microns
c) Oxides of nitrogen
d) Sulphur dioxide.
·Air quality was studied using a direct reading equipment
based on the latest technology.
The wind speed and direction are also recorded along with
other environmental parameters.

(ii) Noise
The noise was measured on the dBA scale at the battery limits
on the four corners of the proposed site on three consecutive
days. The Leq for the day and night-time will be reported and
compared against the standards.

STACK MONITORING AT STAR CEMENT LLC, UAE
Objective:-
Star Cement L.L.C. used Stack Monitoring to
determine the environmental status at the
proposed site Star Cement Ras Al Khaimah,
UAE.

This air emission measurement is required

to identify critical pollutants' (metals,
organic & inorganic substances, PCB, PAH,
furans, and dioxins) concentration in
ambient air to understand the prevailing
status of air quality at PRE-HEATER KILN
STACK.

Syed ahrar jilani

STACK MONITORING AT FUJAIRAH CEMENT LLC, UAE
Objective:-
Fujairah Cement L.L.C. used Stack Monitoring to
determine the environmental status at the
proposed site of Fujairah Cement situated in
Fujairah, UAE.

This air emission measurement is required to

identify critical pollutants of metals, organic &
inorganic substances, PCB, PAH, furans, and
dioxins concentration in ambient air to
understand the prevailing status of air quality
at PRE-HEATER KILN STACK.

PROJECT 03 - MICROBIAL FUEL CELLS, AMU, INDIA
Project Description:-
Microbial Fuel Cells convert chemical energy to electrical energy.
The microbial population, if fed with unwanted products that are rich in organic matter such as municipal
wastewater, biomass, wastewater from breweries, starch processing, leachates of the landfills, etc., can
generate electricity.
This technology not only proves to be useful for treatment of wastewater but can also be used to work as
biosensors and secondary fuel production as hydrogen.

ONSITE SAMPLE COLLECTION ANALYSIS IN THE LABORATORY

Syed ahrar jilani

Central waqf council, New Delhi, REMOTE SENSING DEPTT, AMU
Project Description:-

Collect information about a

specific location (waqf land)
using GPS equipment and
aerial photography.

Use a range of GPS tools in the

field to capture the location
and prepare coordinates of the
land.

To measure the area of assets

such as buildings, shrines,
agricultural land, empty land, CWC, GOI, APPROVAL
etc., and capture photographs. FOR GPS/GIS

Coordinate all work with project

head every day and prepare
report of work.

EXTRACTION IN LAB
PUBLICATION 01- International Conference On Sustainable Solutions in
Industrial Pollution, Water and Wastewater Treatment
Abstract:-

This study gives a critical review over the efficiency of micro-algae based
wastewater treatment systems for the removal of nutrients, harmful and
toxic compounds, etc. by utilising energy from the sun, carbon dioxide and
nutrients from wastewater. These microorganisms can release oxygen and
remove carbon dioxide from environment and thus reduce global
warming. Studies have reported removal of Nitrogen and Phosphorus like
nutrients up to 80-98%.These systems have further shown reduction in BOD
and COD by 40-70% thus making these systems an economical, eco-
friendly and green wastewater treatment option to switch upon.
