1 – Moss and McAdams Accounting Firm

1. If you were Palmer at the end of the case, how would you respond?

the decision taken by Ms. Sands. Is totally not accepted and I would try and convince him again to stay in
palmer project as he is one of the best men in the area of financial field considering that handling the
audit tasks without him will be so difficult on the other hand for Mr Old his own problems arising from
his personal and professional life may not let him give his complete dedication to the work so we can
accept let him go.

2. What, if anything, could Palmer have done to avoid losing Olds?

Once, Mr. Palmer felt that Mr. Olds losing his passions and concentrate in the project, he should have
been discussed this personally with him. To find out the cause and try to fix it ASAP. By talking all
actions possible to make Mr. Old comfortable in his position. Showing some gratitude and appreciation to
his efforts with the projects. Also as a team leader Palmer should have discussed the problem of assigning
one skilled resource to two projects at same time to find solution before this issue happen

1. How successful was the post-meeting?

 The post-meeting was very good as each member had a specific role/ responsibility that serve the
common goal. Considering that the meeting start was not so good for many employees but they
worked as a team to make things right Finally the most important point was choosing the
software engineer.

2. What factors contributed to the success or failure of this meeting?

 Team work

3. What kind of project management structure does Horizon use? Is it the right structure?
Explain

 Strong and solid structure. Horizon is organized into 3 separate departments Sales, Software
Development and Graphics. this specified structure is Ideal for the project. Also having good
organizational culture, Company encourages a playful environment, Having reward system.
and good salary system with big payoff, all these factors creates a right and healthy structure
