 Abstract

The Car Rental System is being developed for customers so that they can book their
Vehicles from any part of the world. This application takes information form the customers
through filling their details. A customer being registered in the website has the facility to
book a vehicle which he requires.

The proposed system is completely integrated online systems. It automates manual

procedure in an effective and efficient way. This automated system facilitates customer
and provides to fill up the details according to their requirements. It includes type of
vehicle they are trying to hire and location. The purpose of this system is to develop a web
site for the people who can book their vehicles along with requirements from any part of
the world.

 CHAPTER 1

1.1 Introduction
This car rental system project is designed to aid the car rental company to enable
renting of cars through an online system. It helps users to search for available cars
view profile and book the cars for the time period. It has a user-friendly interface
which helps user to check for cars shall be categorized into economy, premium, etc.
Based on the type of car required by the customer. The user shall be able to make
bookings. the use of internet technology has made easy. For the customer to rent a
car anytime. This Car Rental System makes the booking easy. It saves time and labor
. The tool shall ask the user for information such as date and time of journey, type of
car etc. also it will need an identification number using these details, the tool shall
help the customer to book a car for journey.
1.2 Background for User Based Problem
The main purpose for the application is to provide car services for various occasion
this also helps tremendously in reducing pollution. Owning a car can be often costly
and is not always good for the environment the rise in automobile is a leading cause
of pollution. Car rental system deals with it, we aim in reducing the carbon footprint.
The current market for these services is huge as more and more companies are
encouraging their employees to use these services as they are pocket friendly and
they are good practices for the environment. The current market leader in this
industry in India is zoom cars. The projected market is 98.12 Billon dollars which has
been project to be increased substantially in upcoming years.
The biggest problem with these services is the unavailability of cars. To deal with
this we are trying to make more car to be on standby, the best time for these
solution to work is in holidays as it is the peek season for the car booking.
 CHAPTER 2

2.1 Problem Definition:

A Car rental is a vehicle that can be used temporarily for a free during a
specified period Getting a rental car helps people get around despite the fact they
do not have access to the own personal vehicle or don't own vehicle all. The
individual who needs a car must can't a rental Car company & contract out for a
rental car vehicle. This system increases customer retention & simplify vehicle &
staff management. To hence customer task whenever they need

Debit card and it has a option of Post Pay(User book the car and use at appropriate
time after returning the car , the user will pay an appropriate fare of car.
