SCRIPT FOR CHRISTMAS PARTY

EMCEE 1: Please settle down now because in a few minutes we will start the program.

INTRODUCTION:
EMCEE 1: Christmas is a season of praise and thanksgiving for the incarnation of God in Jesus Christ. Therefore, we
celebrate Christmas as a symbol of love and happiness.

EMCEE 2: Ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant evening to one and all. This is ____________________________.

EMCEE 1: And this is ___________________________.

TOGETHER: We are delighted to be your toastmasters for tonight.

EMCEE 1: The night is indeed looking good with these good-looking individuals. Various fashion trends are currently
worn by our teachers and parents. Right, partner?

EMCEE 2: Yes, partner. I can see the lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen in front of us. Now, we are about to start
the program so please find a seat and make yourselves comfortable.

GREETINGS:
EMCEE 1: To our highly respected School Principal, Sr. Gregoria C. Bayang, SFSC.

EMCEE 2: To our hardworking Assistant Principal, Sr. Elsie G. Abucay, SFSC.

EMCEE 1: To our ever dynamic Elementary and High School Coordinator, Teacher Minerva M. Dulfo.

EMCEE 2: To our equally active Diligent Shepherdess, Teacher Catherine F. Data.

EMCEE 1: Our Guidance Counsellor, Teacher Ma. Dylene B. Osila.

EMCEE 2: Our Student Affairs Coordinator, Teacher Menchie U. Morallos.

EMCEE 1: To the highly competent and passionate teachers of Mater Divinae Gratiae College.

EMCEE 2: And, of course, to our responsible and very supportive Federated Family and School Association Officers for
School Year 2022 – 2023.

EMCEE 1: Friends, visitors, ladies and gentlemen,

TOGETHER: Once again, good evening!

PRAYER & NATIONAL ANTHEM:


EMCEE 1: Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today for the Christmas Party Program 2022 of Mater Divinae
Gratiae College Inc., with the theme: ____________. And so, to start with, may we all rise and let us feel the presence
of the Lord amidst us through a prayer to be led to us by the Elementary and High School Coordinator, Teacher Minerva
M. Dulfo. This will immediately be followed by the singing of the nationalistic song to be conducted by Mrs. Loth C.
Ubalde.

EMCEE 2: May we request everyone to please stand?


MDGC INC. VISION, MISSION & HYMN:
EMCEE 1: Please remain standing. This time, may we call on Ms. Mirasol B. Doñoz to lead the recitation of the MDGC
Inc.’s Vision and Mission.

EMCEE 2: Now, after the recitation, let us have the singing of the MDGC Inc. Hymn through the headship of Mrs.
Catherine F. Data.

ENERGIZER:
EMCEE 1: At this moment, let us break the ice and shake off those sleepy heads as Teacher Paul Obrey Cebrero, the
adviser of Grade IV – Generosity, leads an energizer for all of us. Everybody must participate to stretch our muscles and
show off our dancing prowess.

OPENING REMARKS:
EMCEE 1: Everyone, you may now take your seats. At this juncture, to formally commence this wonderful celebration,
let us put our hands together for our industrious school principal, Sr. Gregoria C. Bayang, SFSC, as she delivers her
opening remarks. A round of applause, please!

CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION:
EMCEE 2: Thank you so much, Sr. Goya, for that very heart-warming message. At this point, let us have the Christmas
presentation of every department.

CALL THE PRESENTER:


EMCEE 1: Everyone, our first presenter is from the ______________ department. Let us give them a resounding
applause!

AFTER PRESENTATION:
EMCEE 2: Thank you for that amazing number! Thank you for showing us your great moves.

(REPEAT THE STATEMENT FOR THE REST OF THE PRESENTERS.)

INTERMISSION NUMBER:
EMCEE 1: Before we proceed to the next part of the program, an intermission number will be given to us first by no less
than our very talented MAPEH Teacher, Teacher Mark Peber Docena. Let us all give him a big hand!

CHRISTMAS GAMES:
EMCEE 2: I think everyone is ready because it is time for the fun. Let us all play and be happy. May we call on the
facilitators of the games to come to the front to kick-off the activities? Thank you!

DINNER:
EMCEE 1: Thank you so much for participating in the games. Anyway, I hope you’re hungry because it’s time to eat
those delicious foods. No Christmas party is complete without a delicious feast. We have a wonderful spread of food
and drinks waiting for you. To fill our stomachs with the subsequent surprises and presentation, may we all stand for the
prayer before we partake in our meals.

EMCEE 2: Please help yourselves and enjoy the culinary delights of the season.

EXCHANGE GIFT:
EMCEE 1: At this point in time, we will move on to the next part of the program, which is the gift-giving. I know you will
all agree when I say that it is great to give and receive gifts. From the generous hearts of our sisters, we will now receive
the gifts as fruits of our labors.
EMCEE 2: May we call on Sr. Gregoria C. Bayang, SFSC, our School Principal, to facilitate the giving of gifts.
EMCEE 1: Did you like your gifts? Of course! Therefore, it is right for us to express our gratitude to the Franciscan
sisters by giving them a thundering applause.

CLOSING:
EMCEE 1: To cap off today’s event, may we call on Sr. Elsie G. Abucay, SFSC, our assistant principal, for her closing
remarks. Let us give her a resounding applause.

EMCEE 2: Thank you, Sr. Elsie!

EMCEE 1: Congratulations and thank you to everyone. This is such an amazing Christmas celebration. This will surely
get MDGC Inc. a big jumpstart for the next few years.

EMCEE 2: I agree. And this ends the 2022 Christmas Party Celebration. We are your hosts for today. I am __________
