The human person flourishing (individual)

1. How is the human person revealed in modern technology?


 Human is one of the Species.That last evolved better by brain but be by
physical abilities. First of it is best vocal cords and swiftness of tongue. It
was revealed by entering into a particular relation with reality, reality is
‘revealed’ in a specific way.

2. What do you think constitutes human flourishing?


 Human flourishing is the ability to live a good life. Human flourishing is
primarily a function of human happiness. Thus an example, humans
generally like cleanliness. The opposite would be environmental
destruction. Thus, taking care of the environment should result in a degree
of human happiness.

3. How can you as a student, help spread awareness about the danger of
technology in such a way that technology is not condemned in the process?
 Technology should not be condemned but used to undo the environmental
damage caused by the careless use of technology. As a student I can help
spread awareness about the danger of technology through, promoting the
positive effects and influence of technology with the use of the social
media such as posting tips in dealing and using technology responsibly as
a student.

CHAPTER ACTIVITY:

1. For individual activity, using the word TECHNOLOGY, make an acrostic that will
summarize the argument of Martin Heidegger on the essence of technology
incorporating the current situation of your society.

T - Technology is a way of revealing.


E - Everything that's perceived is based on what we have in mind.
C - Calculative thinking is now the only form of thinking.
H - Heidegger stated that despite the advantages that technology had, it's
dangerous.
N - No one really wants to think anymore to solve issues.
O - Our communication is affected.
L - Laziness is one bad effect of technology.
O - One important advantage of technology noted was that it makes work easier.
G - Good use of technology is vital for the development of a nation.
Y - You can still ensure your brain is active while technology is still in use.
2. Pick a work of art that you feel best reveals technology. Reflect and discuss how the
artwork describe and reveals technology. Ground your discussion from the article.

Technology has exceeded our humanity.
