1. Draw an ellipse by concentric circle method given the major and minor axes as 80 mm and 50 mm respectively. 2. Construct an ellipse having in major axis 100 mm and minor axis 80 mm by arc of circle method. 3. A Plot of ground is in the shape of a rectangle 110 m ×50 m. Inscribe an elliptical lawn in it by. 4. Draw an ellipse when the distance of its Focus from directrix is equal to 60 mm and eccentricity is 3/5. 5. A ball through from the ground level reaches a maximum height of 5 m and travels a horizontal distance of 11 m from the point of projection. Trace the path of the ball. 6. Inscribe a parabola in a rectangle of sides 100mm×80mm with the longer side as the base. 7. A coin 40 mm diameter rolls over a dining table without sleeping a point on the circumference of the coin is in contact with the table surface in the beginning and after one complete revolution. Draw the curve traced by the point and also draw the normal and tangent on it. 8. A cycle wheel of 50 cm diameter rolls over a culvert of 175 cm diameter. Draw the path traced out by a point on the circumference of the cycle wheel for one complete revolution. Also draw normal and tangent. 9. Construct a hypocycloid, rolling circle 50 mm diameter and directing circle 175 mm diameter. Draw a tangent to it a point 50 mm from the center of directing circle. 10. Construct an involute curve for 70 mm diameter of circle. Also draw normal and tangent on it 11. Explain the following- a.Circle b.Ellipse c.Parabola d.Hyperbola e.Cycloid f.Epicycloid g.Hypocycloid
