Basic Programming
Take the opportunity to up-skill in our digital training environment from your PC. Together with a certified FANUC instructor,
learn how create and modify programs with both motion and logic, how to save the system using simple data backups and how
to set up tool and user frames. This is an basic course for robot operators, programmers and maintenance engineers with
none or small experience of FANUC robots.

Target group Robot operators, programmers and maintenance engineers with none or small
experience of FANUC robots.

Objectives After completed course the participant should be able to:


• demonstrate that he/she can use acquired knowledge to solve problems within
the subject area and relate it with their own workplace.
• show a deepened knowledge within the subject through the ability to orally
describe each of the subject‘s different contents.

Course Content Part 1 - Simple Robot Programming and Backups


• Create new programs, add motions and edit motions. This part also goes
through how to make different backups, how to restore certain programs, how
saved files look like and gives other backup tips.
Part 2 - Tool & User Frame
• What Tool and User Frames are and how to set them.
Part 3 - Simple Logic Programming pt.1
• Add instructions in Programs, including IF, I/O, JMP LBL, etc.
Part 4 - Simple Logic Programming pt.2
• Use of Registers, such as Data registers, Position registers and String
registers. Create counters and FOR-loops using registers.

Pre-requisites „Online Training - Robot Operator“ or equivalent knowledge in FANUC robot


operation and safety.

This is an Online Training and thus the participant is expected to use their own
computer, have internet connection and have the robot simulator ROBOGUIDE
installed. FANUC is not responsible for if the participant‘s trial version of
ROBOGUIDE has expired on their computer and thus needs to buy a license to be
able to participate in the course.

Language Courses are presented in local language when appropriate (Swedish, Danish,
Finnish) - otherwise courses are held in English. Course material is in English.

Location Online training. Computer with internet connection required.

Duration and dates Course duration: 2 days. Please check scheduled dates on our website.
