Anticipated problems: Form: Imperatives was used in the statements. There wont be any problem about form. Statements are appropriate for their proficiency level. Meaning: There some signs about mobile phone. Pronunciation: There is no problem in pronunciation. Cultural: Actually user guide wont be new for sts. However, we arent looking at user guide when we bought something new in Turkey. Solutions: Meaning: I will teach these signs by using a matching activity. Cultural: This will be a good example to sts. They will understand the importance of user guides. Materials: Handouts, pictures, OHP, board, boardmarker.

Lets play a game before the lesson. -Introduce the game The game is Last word -Say Now, I need 5 groups. -Divide them into 5 groups. One, two, three, four One, two, three, four -Give instructions I want each group to create a story. Each member will add a sentence in sequence. The only rule is Use the last word of the previous sentence. -Demo the instructions Last Saturday night I went to a movie with my friends Friends of mine that went were Corey, Justin and Liam -Check the understanding Are there any questions -Set the time You have 1 minute -Say Time is over -Ask Which group wants to read their story? -Give feedback Good -Say Lets move on the lesson.
