Note : TSH levels are subject to constantly variation, rising several hours before the onset of sleep, reaching peak levels between11p.m to 6.a.m. Nadir
concentrations are observed during the afternoon. Day to day variation in TSH level approximates + - 50 % hence time of the day has influence on the measured
serum TSH concentrations.

Change in ultrasensitive h TSH secretion Glucocorticoids, servere non-thyroid illness, Dopaminergices may lead to reduced TSH. Metoclopramide,
noradrenaline, antidopaminergics, antidepressants... may lead to increased TSH. Depression : In certain major depressions, Low TSH associated with normal T3
and T4 Level is sometimes observed in the absence of endocrinopathy . Patient not receiving treatment.

Results are to be correlated with clinical findings & interpreted by referring physician/Doctor.
