Lab No 5

The document describes calculating reservoir pressure at different radii from a well that has flowed for 10 days at a rate of 350 stb/day. It provides properties of the rock and fluid, and calculates the pressure at radii of 0.333, 1, 10, 100, 1000, and 3160 feet using the given equation. The pressures are then displayed in a table and graph on Excel showing how pressure decreases with increasing radius from the wellbore.

LAB NO: 5

Object:
Calculation of the reservoir pressure at different radius and constructing the
graph on MS excel.
Problem: A well has flowed for 10 days at rate of 350 stb/day rock and fluid
properties includes B = 1.13 BBL/STB, Pi= 3000 psi, µ = 0.75 cp, K= 25md, h=
50ft, ct = 2 *10-5, ɸ=0.16 and rw= 0.333ft. Calculate pressure at radius of 0.333,
1, 10, 100, 1000 & 3160 ft.
Data:
T = 10days
Q = 350 bbl/stb
B = 1.13 RBL/STB
Pi = 3000 psi

ɸ = 0.16
Required:
Pressure =? @ r = 0.333, 1,10, 100, 1000 & 3160 ft.
