1. Introduction

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is defined as the mechanism or system that show and learn human
intelligence and can improve themselves with the help of the data which they collect. Artificial
intelligence comes in several shapes and sizes. Here are a few examples:

• Artificial intelligence (AI) is used by chatbots to better understand client concerns.

• AI to interpret key information from vast databases to update better scheduling.
• Based on a user's viewing habits, recommendation engines can provide automated
music, video, shows recommendations.

AI is the ability to think quickly and optimize data. Although ideas of high-tech functioning
robots make an image of AI sweeping the globe, AI is not designed to extinct humanity. AI’s
mission is to greatly boost human abilities.
2. AI and Developers:

Artificial intelligence is used by developers to execute jobs that would otherwise be manually
completed, connect with clients, pattern recognition, and issue solving more effectively. To
get started with AI, programmers must have a mathematical knowledge background and be
familiar with algorithms.

It is beneficial to begin modest when employing artificial intelligence to develop an

application. You can study the fundamentals of artificial intelligence by developing a relatively
simple project, such as tic-tac-toe. Artificial intelligence is no exception. Learning by doing is
an excellent approach to improving any skill. There are no boundaries to where artificial
intelligence can lead you once you've finished one or more small-scale initiatives.

3. AI work in the organization:

AI's central concept is to imitate, then surpass, human perceptions and reactions to the world.
It's quickly establishing itself as a pillar of innovation and machine learning techniques for
detecting patterns in data and making predictions like:

• Predicting the vast amount of data accessible

• Predictions to make an automatic system for too complicated or timetabled work
4. AI in Enterprise:

AI is increasing the efficiency and productivity of businesses by automating procedures and

operations that previously required human intervention. AI can also comprehend facts at a level
that no human has ever been able to match. This expertise has the potential to be very valuable
to the business. In 2017, Netflix, for example, employed machine learning to provide a level
of personalization that helped it increase its subscriber base by 25%.

Many businesses have made data science a major focus, and they're making large investments
in it. The top differentiating technology was identified as analytics and business intelligence.
AI has the potential to enhance every job function, business, and sector. It includes both generic
and industry-specific applications, such as:

• AI models to estimate how much people will spend over the lifespan of their connection
with a corporation
• Adapting price based on client preferences and behavior
• Recognition of the image is being used to look for cancer symptoms.

According to the Harvard Business Review, AI is largely used by businesses to:

• Detect and prevent security breaches (44%)

• Resolve challenges with technology for users (41%)
• Work on production management should be reduced (34%) (Oracle, 2021)
5. Artificial Intelligence and Foreign Policy

The Department of State is focused on AI because it is at the heart of the global

technological shift, and breakthroughs in AI technology bring with them both immense
potential and significant challenges. The United States can advance democracy and human
rights while improving our scientific and technological capabilities by collaborating to
identify and grab opportunities while facing issues through the adoption of agreed
standards and agreements on the ethical use of AI.

In partnership with our allies and partners, the Department of State develops an
international policy environment and strives to establish collaborations that improve our
capabilities in AI technologies, preserve our national and economic security, and promote
our values. As a result, the Department is taking part in a few bilateral and international
dialogues aimed at encouraging responsible AI technology development, implementation,
use, and governance.

6. Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence

The Global Partnership for AI (GPAI) is a non-profit, multi-stakeholder project founded in

June 2020 to promote artificial intelligence in conformity with democratic ideals and
human rights. The mandate of GPAI is project-oriented cooperation, which it encourages
through working groups focusing on responsible AI, data governance, the future of work,
commercialization, and innovation. As a founding member, the United States has played
an important role in developing GPAI and ensuring that it supports OECD activities.
7. Driving adoption in AI

Three factors are driving the development of AI across industries:

• High-performance computers are now widely available at an affordable price:

Low-cost, high-performance computing may be easily accessed since commodity

processing power is widely available in the cloud. Prior to this breakthrough, the
only AI computing environments accessible were non-cloud and prohibitively
expensive.

• For training, large amounts of data are accessible:

AI must be trained on a significant quantity of data to make correct predictions.

Because of the development of various tools for labeling data, as well as the
simplicity and affordability with which they can store and handle both structured
and unstructured data, more businesses are constructing and training AI algorithms.

• Applied AI provides you a competitive advantage:

Businesses are fast seeing the competitive benefit of incorporating AI results into
their business goals and are prioritizing it. For example, AI assistance suited to a
company's needs can assist it in making better decisions more quickly. Many of
AI's qualities and capabilities can result in cheaper costs, less risks, a shorter time
to market, and other advantages.
8. Myths in enterprise AI

• A do-it-yourself approach is required for enterprise AI.

Reality:

o To use AI, most companies employ a combination of in-house and off-the-shelf

technology.
o Prebuilt AI solutions can help you get started faster by delivering a ready-to-use
solution for some of the most prevalent business challenges.
o In-house AI development allows firms to tailor their solutions to their own
requirements.AI will immediately provide remarkable outcomes.

Reality:

o Time, thoughtful planning, and a clear understanding of the goals you want to
achieve are all required for AI success.
o You'll need a strategic framework and an iterative method to prevent giving a
random bunch of unconnected AI solutions.

• Enterprise AI does not need the use of humans to operate.

Reality:

o Enterprise AI isn't about using robots to take over the planet.

o The benefit of AI is that it augments human abilities, allowing your people to focus
on more critical tasks.
o People are needed to give AI the proper data and work with it in the right way.
• The more information you have, the better.

Reality:

o Intelligent data is required for enterprise AI.

o To obtain the most useful business insights from AI.
o Data must be of good quality, current, relevant, and enhanced.

• All that is required for enterprise AI to succeed is data and models.

Reality:

o Data, algorithms, and models are only the starting point.

o An AI system must be scalable to meet changing business demands.
o Until recently, data scientists were responsible for the great majority of corporate
AI solutions.
9. The benefits and challenges of operationalizing AI

There are several success stories that highlight the value of AI. Organizations that use
machine learning and cognitive interfaces into traditional business processes and apps may
greatly improve user experience and efficiency.

However, there are certain roadblocks. For several reasons, few organizations have used
AI on a large scale. Artificial intelligence projects, for example, are often computationally
costly if cloud computing is not used. They are also difficult to construct and need
knowledge that is in high demand but in low supply. Understanding when to use AI and
when to rely on a third party will assist to mitigate these concerns.

10. Success in AI

AI is the driving force behind some notable success stories:

• According to the Harvard Business Review, the Associated Press created 12 times more
reports by training AI software to automatically compose concise earnings news pieces.
This attempt freed up the time of its journalists to publish more in-depth pieces.

• Deep Patient is an artificial intelligence-powered application developed by Mount

Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine that allows clinicians to detect high-risk individuals
before illnesses develop. The program, according to inside BIGDATA, examines a
patient's medical history to anticipate over 80 illnesses up to a year in advance.
11. Creating the right culture in AI

To get the most out of AI while avoiding the roadblocks that stymie successful
implementations, a team culture that fully supports the AI ecosystem must be created. In
this type of situation:

• Business analysts collaborate with data scientists to establish challenges and goals.
• Data engineers keep the data as well as the underlying data platform in good
working order so that it may be analyzed.
• Data scientists use a data science platform to prepare, evaluate, display, and model
data.
• The underlying infrastructure required to support data science at scale, whether on-
premises or in the cloud, is managed by IT architects.
• Models are deployed into applications by application developers to create data-
driven products.

12. Strategic imperative and competitive advantage in AI

AI is a strategic necessity for every firm looking to optimize productivity, create new
income streams, or build consumer loyalty. Many firms are fast adopting it as a
competitive advantage. AI can assist organizations in doing more in less time, providing
more tailored and appealing user experiences, and anticipating business outcomes to
increase profitability.

AI is a very new and sophisticated technology. To get the most out of it, you need to
know how to build and run large-scale AI systems. Hiring a data scientist isn't enough to
assure an AI project's success. To be successful with AI, businesses must apply the
appropriate tools, procedures, and management techniques.
13. Deep 6

13.1. Background and History

Deep 6 AI is situated in Pasadena, California, and was

created in 2015. Deep 6 AI has been solely focused on
healthcare since 2016. Deep 6 AI got its start by defeating
some of the most well-known names in analytics in a
government-sponsored competition in the United States
which resulted in a contract with the US intelligence
community, which is the world's most complicated data environment (Deep 6 AI, 2019).

13.2. Deep 6 with AI

Working: Your information + natural language processing + medical concepts + deep learning

Deep 6 AI employs artificial intelligence and human language processing to find qualified
people for clinical trials more quickly, resulting in exponentially faster recruitment and
delivery of remedies to those who require them.

The software extracts thousands of new clinical sample points from different medical
documents, including side effects, diagnostic tests, treatment methods, gene therapy, lifestyle
data, and more, using artificial intelligence and natural language processing to transform
divided medical documents into strong and united patient charts that contain all the information
needed to match complex clinical research criteria.

The Deep 6 AI program can also identify people who have illnesses that aren't mentioned in
their medical records. As a result, Deep 6 AI's algorithm can locate more patients in less time
who better fit trial criteria. (Deep 6 AI, 2019).
14. Conclusion

Artificial Intelligence is one of those aspects of life that continues to surprise us with its
innovations, inventions, and so on. AI has made life easier for humans in a variety of ways.
With the help of AI, it minimizes the cost and time required for work.

Humans will place a higher value on artificial intelligence than on its abilities. It will become
an everyday occurrence in our lives. Some people are concerned about the growth of this new
technology, which involves a robot that can learn and grow on its own. In terms of IQ, artificial
intelligence will exceed humans and become superior in a variety of abilities and expertise. As
a result, some people are left with an identity crisis. What distinguishes people and what is
their purpose if artificial intelligence can simply replace them by absorbing all their qualities
and habits? Artificial intelligences are expected to learn on their own and to possess physical
and mental characteristics akin to humans.

Along with the benefits, there are some disadvantages as well. For starters, AI can be employed
in war to kill humans. Using one's thinking makes people lazy in general. By locating more
patients for clinical trials in minutes rather than months, Deep 6 AI helps people get access to
life-saving treatments sooner.
