1. Why are you applying to the University of Wolverhampton?
I have chosen the University of Wolverhampton, for my higher study due to its dimension of course,
it’s open, friendly, and informal environment. Its reputation for research and the innovative course
makes it one of the top destinations for studying and achieving a worth full degree. As per my
research, the environment for acquiring knowledge here is favorable for international students as
compared to other universities.
That’s why I choose the University of Wolverhampton for my master’s in international business and
hospitality management.
2. Why does studying in the UK and this course interest you?
Out of many options, I preferred to study in the UK due to its internationally reputed qualification,
high standards of teaching, time efficient, and variety of courses. By studying in the UK, we will not
only achieve world-class education but also get to know about unique British Culture and perfect our
English language and skills. The quality of education and academic Excellency make the UK one of
the most popular study destinations for international students. From the various internet search, I
found that the graduates from UK universities are highly professional and are in demand all around
the globe. The UK is one of the leading countries with some of the world’s best education-providing
institutions in the world. The UK has a perfect study environment for international students with
multicultural diversity and warm and friendly culture. It also has a high standard of living and vibrant
and dynamic cities like London, Birmingham, and Manchester for international students for modern
city life experience. Due to these various reasons, I prefer the UK for my further study rather than
other countries.
3. Why do you think you’re suitable for the course and how will studying this course benefit you?
In this 21st century's versatile world nothing is certain and this same applies to every financial
company and organization. The current market structure is dynamic, and the level of competencies is
always increasing which can result in an uncertain future for financial organizations. Forecasting the
uncertainties and taking the required measures to see them off is very important for the organization,
and this is where accounting comes into play. Just as language is universal to people, so is accounting
in business because it deals with interpreting and communicating information about a company's past
events and forecasting the future. For a business to survive and grow it is crucial to have proper
accounting practices as it ensures the accuracy of financial statements complying with the existing
laws and regulations which eventually results in improved business efficiency, reduce costs,
enhanced revenue, and undertake profit-making decisions with the owners, investor, or the managers
of the company. It is because of this recognition and importance of accounting majority of students
graduating from a business background decide to seek further education in the field of MBA. With
better knowledge and advanced training in accounting and related subjects, an individual can develop
a strong career in today's modern business and financial organizations. Hence, with the help of the
MBA, I can receive the full package in the field of business and accounting as it will help me to
handle the business with different techniques of accounting finance and help me to get great career
opportunities after the completion of the course.
4. What would you like to do after completing this course?
After completing my studies and gaining experience in different company of the UK, I will return to
Nepal and Start my career here. Understanding different business methodology, markets and working
with diverse group in the UK will benefit me to grab the opportunities in my country. Also, degree of
the UK and international exposure will expand the horizon of my skills and knowledge which will
provide me advantage over the graduates from Nepal as they lack international exposure. So, I can
achieve greater success in my career in Nepal than working in any other foreign countries.
5. Please provide any skills, achievements, or other information you wish to provide to support your
application.
I accomplished my School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C) from Laliguras Academy Ishworpur, Nepal
securing Distinction (81.25%) in the year 2014 AD. After that, I joined Goldengate International
Secondary School, Kathmandu, Nepal, and completed my intermediate level from Higher
Secondary Exam Board (HSEB) securing 2nd division (59.40%) in the year 2017 AD. Subsequently,
I completed my bachelor of humanities and social sciences at Goldengate International College,
Kathmandu, Nepal affiliated to Tribhuvan University with securing First Division (69.07%) in 2020
AD.
