TITLE SCREEN: In 1978, evil came to the little town of

Haddonfield… In 1980, the Crystal Lake murders began…

FADE IN

EXT. STREET OF HADDONFIELD/- HALLOWEEN NIGHT

A LITTLE GIRL (5) is running down the street of an empty

suburban neighborhood. Behind her, MICHAEL MYERS emerges
from the dark part of the street, following her. She runs across
the street, across a front yard and inside her house.

INT. THE GIRL'S HOUSE

She shuts the door and locks it.

LITTLE GIRL: Mommy?! Daddy?!

No answer. The house seems empty.

LITTLE GIRL: Hello?! Is anybody home?

Still no answer. The little girl is about to break down into tears
until the doorknob starts SHAKING. She runs into the hallway and
goes into-

INT. THE GIRL'S BEDROOM

Her bedroom. She slams the door and hides underneath her bed.
She begins to cry- but stops when she hears footsteps in the
hallway. She covers her mouth, keeping herself from making any
sound.

From the little girl's POV, we see the bedroom door open from
underneath the bed. Michael's black boots step inside the room.
They begin to scope the room. The little girl keeps her mouth
shut. We hear Michael's footsteps slowly circle around the room.
Step by step by step… The bed is suddenly FLIPPED OVER,
exposing the little girl's presence! She screams. Michael stands
over her, knife raised!

INT. BEDROOM- MORNING (OCTOBER 31st)

A WOMAN wakes up with a scream. This is AUDREY STRODE- the

same little girl from the dream sequence. She's 20 years old. She
sits on her bed, processing what she dreamt.

EXT. CRYSTAL LAKE- MORNING

The town of CRYSTAL LAKE hasn't changed. Orange leaves fill the
streets and a lot of houses are decorated with Halloween
decorations. It sure is fall. AUDREY and her friend- KASSIE are
walking on the sidewalk.

AUDREY: I'm always paranoid around this time. Halloween is not

my favorite holiday. I wish tomorrow was Christmas.

KASSIE: Audrey, you have to get over it. It happened years ago.
Michael Myers has been incarcerated since and he's never getting
out.

AUDREY: You don't know what he's capable of.

KASSIE: Besides, Haddonfield is miles away from Crystal Lake. I

bet he wouldn't guess where you are."

AUDREY: I can't believe I'm related to him.

KASSIE (changing the subject): Why don't we do something fun

tomorrow. Me, you, and the boys.

AUDREY: Like what?

KASSIE: I don't know-- Ooh, maybe we should explore that

abandoned campsite.

AUDREY: Camp Crystal Lake?

KASSIE: It is Halloween afterall, so why not do something

spooky.

AUDREY: A lot of people are saying that place is cursed, that

there's a madman in a hockey mask who killed a bunch of camp
counselors.

KASSIE: Don't believe everything you hear. What's true about

that is there was a boy named Jason Voorhees who drowned as a
result of the counselors not paying attention to him, then his
mother went on a killing spree to avenge her son's death until her
head was decapitated.

AUDREY: Jesus.

KASSIE: The whole thing where Jason comes back as an undead

killer is just a myth. The camp has been abandoned for years,
there's nothing there. We'll be fine if we go there.

AUDREY: I don't know.

KASSIE: Come on, it'll be fun. Just something to take your mind
off Michael for once.

AUDREY: I'll think about it.

EXT. SMITH'S GROVE- NIGHT

SMITH'S GROVE- standing still and silent. Nothing has changed.

INT. SMITH'S GROVE/HALLWAY

A DOCTOR walks down the hallway.

INT. MICHAEL'S CELL

MICHAEL MYERS- sitting in a chair, staring at the wall. The door

is unlocked and the doctor enters.

DOCTOR: Hi, Michael. I came to tell you that you will be

transported from here tomorrow. It's been a pleasure working
with you and I wish you the best of luck at the new facility. It's
crazy how fast fifteen years went by.

Michael says nothing.

DOCTOR: Those are my last words to you, Michael. Have a good

night.

The doctor leaves, shutting the door.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/PARKING LOT- NIGHT

Two TEENAGE BOYS ride their bikes to the vacant parking lot of
CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE. The sign: WELCOME TO CAMP CRYSTAL
LAKE is pretty beat up.

TEENAGER#1: Are you sure this is a good idea?

TEENAGER#2: This place has been abandoned for years.

Nobody's gonna catch us.

They leave their bikes behind and slowly make their way into the
camp.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/FOREST

Behind a tree, we watch the boys walk on the trail through

someone else's POV.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/TRAIL

TEENAGER#1: So do you think all that Jason shit is true?

TEENAGER#2: Hell nah, man. It doesn't even make sense. How

can a little boy who drowned all of the sudden come back as
some big zombie killer?

TEENAGER#1: He must've went to went to school underwater.

They giggle.

TEENAGER#2: They fed him fish for lunch, that's why he's big
and strong.

TEENAGER#1: Gotta have that protein.

Behind the boys, through the POV, someone is fast approaching

them!

Suddenly, teenager#2 is grabbed by his throat and lifted off his

feet- JASON VOORHEES is behind him!

TEENAGER#1: Holy shit!

Jason PLUNGES his machete through the boy's chest.

Teenager#1 runs away. Jason drops his first victim to the ground
and chases the other.

Teenager#1 runs toward the entrance of the camp.

TEENAGER#1: I'll never come back here again, I promise!

Jason appears and throws his machete at the boy. Just as he's
about to make it out, it PLUNGES straight into his head! He
instantly collapses. Jason walks to him, retrieves the weapon
from the boy's skull, and disappears into the woods.

INT. AUDREY'S HOUSE- MORNING (HALLOWEEN)

Audrey is standing in her kitchen, making herself a cup of tea.

The TV is on in the background.

NEWS LADY: Last night, two teenagers- Lucas Brackett and

Benjamin Weller went missing. There will be a patrol for both of
them by the authorities today and for further notice…

Audrey shakes her head while listening to this.

AUDREY (sighs): Halloween-- worst holiday ever.

EXT. HADDONFIELD- NIGHT

The streets of Haddonfield are full of trick or treaters.

NEWS LADY (O.S.): "Breaking news, it is 7:00 am… "

INT. BAR- NIGHT

The TV is on in the bar. People are watching.

NEWS LADY: "... This means the infamous serial killer, Michael
Myers will be transported from Smith's Grove. Fifteen years ago,
Michael tried to kill his 5 year old niece, Audrey Strode- the
adopted daughter of Laurie Strode- Michael's sister who he went
after in 1978…

EXT. SMITH'S GROVE- NIGHT

A transportation bus parks in front of Smith's Grove. The guards

exit and make their way into the building.

INT. SMITH'S GROVE/MICHAEL'S CELL

The guards enter Michael's cell and shut the door. They approach
him and handcuff him before lifting him to his feet. They turn him
around and move him towards the door. Suddenly- the power
cuts! The room is PITCH BLACK.

INT. HALLWAY

A JANITOR is walking down the hall- hears BANGING and a few

GUNSHOTS coming from Michael's cell. The noises fade away.

JANITOR: "Whoa! What the hell is going on?!"

The janitor quickly walks to the cell and unlocks it with his key.
He opens the door- the light in from the hallway is bright enough
to reveal the guards laying on the floor- not moving. A few of
them have snapped necks and most of them are unconscious.
The janitor takes out his walkie talkie.

JANITOR (into walkie talkie): Excuse me, I need medical

assistance--

Suddenly- Michael pops out from the room and grabs the janitor
by his throat! Michael steps out of the cell and THROWS the
janitor across the hall. He HITS the wall. Michael walks to him,
picks him up and repeatedly BASHES his face into the wall until
he's unconscious. Michael lays the janitor on the floor, changes
out of his prison uniform and replaces it with the janitor's dark
blue jumpsuit and black boots. Michael drags the naked
unconscious janitor into the dark cell.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/PARKING LOT- NIGHT

A minivan parks in front of the sign. The doors open and Audrey,
along with Kassie and four boys- JOSH, TONY, CLARK, CLAYTON-
also another girl- LYNDA.

JOSH: Welcome to Camp Crystal Lake, baby!

KASSIE: Josh, don't be such a loudmouth!

LYNDA: Yeah, we're not 100% sure there's nobody here.

TONY: It's been years since I've seen that sign.

They make their way toward the camp.

TONY: I remember going on a field trip here when I was a kid.

It's been shut down ever since what happened in 1980.

CLARK: Then all those stories about Jason started to come up.

CLAYTON: Whoever made up those stories should be a director.

They would make pretty good movies.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/WOODS- NIGHT

They make their way into the woods. Tony and Josh have
flashlights.

TONY: Oooohh-- so spooky.

Tony turns around and playfully waves the flashlight in Lynda's

face.

LYNDA: Tony! Knock it off! I'm not even scared!

Behind a tree, we are watching the group walk through the woods
through Jason's POV.

TONY: How about we split up.

LYNDA: Hell no. I am not walking through this creepy place by

myself.

TONY: I mean in groups. One group stays in the woods, another

goes to the trail, and another goes to the lake.

KASSIE: Sounds good. Audrey and Clayton, come with me.

JOSH: Lynda, want to come with me to the lake?

LYNDA: Sure.

TONY: Clark, want to come with me on the trail?

CLARK: You got it.

TONY: Alright, we picked our groups. Let's go.

They separate into their groups.

INT. SMITH'S GROVE/PROPERTY ROOM- NIGHT

A security guard is chilling at his desk in the property room.

There is a knock at the door.

SECURITY GUARD: Coming.

He gets up and opens the door. MICHAEL is standing in the

doorway! Before the guard can react, Michael SNAPS his neck! He
instantly collapses. Michael enters the room and opens the
evidence locker- reaches inside and takes out his MASK (1978
mask, not the trash ones from the sequels after Halloween 2). He
puts it on and walks out.

INT. RECEPTION AREA

The reception area is decorated with halloween stickers. The

female receptionist sits silently. Michael is behind her! He grabs
her head with both hands! She shrieks. Michael SQUEEZES both
sides of her head and CRUSHES her skull with a vicious CRACK!
Blood shoots out! Michael lets her head collapse on the desk and
walks away.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/TRAIL- NIGHT

Tony and Clark walk along the trail- illuminating the dark with
their flashlights.

CLARK: Do you actually think Jason could be out here?

TONY: I don't know. I don't feel comfortable talking about that

right now. If it was daytime, I wouldn't mind.

CLARK: You're such a scaredy cat.

TONY: Oh, shut up.

CLARK: Ooooh… My name is Jason and I kill anybody who doesn't

believe in me.

TONY: Dude, seriously. Shut up. We're walking in a dark forest-

let's not talk about scary shit.

CLARK: Everyone's entitled to a good scare on Halloween.

TONY: Stay here, I have to piss.

CLARK: That was random.

Tony runs into the woods.

CLARK: I'll let you know if I see Jason!

EXT. WOODS- NIGHT

Tony finds a tree, pulls his pants down, and does his business.
Jason approaches him from behind and PLUNGES his machete
into his body- so far that the blade sticks out at the other side of
the tree!

EXT. TRAIL- NIGHT

Clark paces back and forth on the trail.

CLARK: Ah, look what you did, Tony. Now I have to pee.

Clark walks into the woods.

EXT. WOODS- NIGHT

Clark finds a tree and pulls his pants down. Jason approaches him
from behind, accidently stepping on a root. Clark spins around.

CLARK: Oh, shit!

He's startled so bad that he ends up squirting pee on Jason!

Jason SWINGS his machete at Clark. Clark ducks, the blade
hitting the tree. Clark runs away in his underwear. Jason follows.

Clark runs so fast that he's not looking down. A sharp open root
PIERCES his ankle and he TRIPS and falls to the ground.

CLARK: Fuck!

Jason catches up to him. Clark crawls backward away from him-

he doesn't realize he's moving toward a big log with a sharp
branch sticking out. Jason quickly approaches him.

CLARK: Please, stay away!

Jason grabs Clark by the head and SHOVES his face through the
branch! Jason walks away.

EXT. A HOUSE NEAR CRYSTAL LAKE- NIGHT

A lonely two-story house. It's garage is wide open. We hear a

radio playing in the distance…

INT. GARAGE- NIGHT

In the garage, there's a man laying on a skateboard underneath

the house car, fixing the engine. A radio is next to him- music
playing.

EXT. HOUSE- NIGHT

Outside the garage, Michael is standing a distance away- looking

into the garage. He turns to the house and walks across the front
yard until he's in front of the window. There's an elderly lady
inside the kitchen- back turned to the window. Michael walks to
the front door- which is open but the screen door is closed.

INT. KITCHEN- NIGHT

While the lady's back is turned, Michael quietly opens the screen
door and steps inside. The counter is right beside him. He slowly
opens the utensil drawer, grabs a butcher knife, then closes it.
Michael briefly looks at the lady, then turns and exits the house.

INT. GARAGE- NIGHT

The man finishes with the engine and pulls himself out from
underneath the car to be greeted by Michael STABBING him in
the chest, instantly killing him.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/LAKE AREA- NIGHT

Josh and Lynda are standing on the dock over the lake.

JOSH: This is where Jason drowned.

LYNDA: Obviously, where else would he drown?

JOSH: I don't know.

LYNDA: So why weren't the counselors watching Jason? Isn't that

supposed to be their job?

JOSH: They were having sex.

LYNDA: What kind of camp counselors decide to get laid rather

than doing their job?

JOSH: I know, right? Out of all the times and places they could've
been banging each other, it had to be while a little boy was in the
midst of drowning- so selfish.

LYNDA: No wonder why his mother went crazy. I would too if I

had a kid who died because of not being paid attention to.
JOSH: Lynda, you should try sticking your feet in the water.

LYNDA: What? Why me?

JOSH: Why not? Just sit on the edge of the dock and stick them
in the water- it's not like I'm telling you to jump in.

LYNDA: Uh… okay.

Lynda walks to the edge of the dock, takes her sandals off and
sits down, slowly sticking her feet in the water.

LYNDA: Jesus, it's cold.

JOSH: Cold?

LYNDA: Yeah. Why don't you try it out, Josh.

Lynda kicks her feet around in the water.

LYNDA: If you move your feet around, the water will get warmer.

JOSH: I'm just going to stick my hands in the water.

LYNDA: That's not fair. You made me stick my feet in the water,
so you do it too.
Suddenly- Jason comes out of nowhere and CHOPS Josh's head
off with one swing of his machete! Lynda saw the whole thing.
She screams and falls into the water. She quickly swims toward
shore.

LYNDA: Fucking cold!! Fucking cold!!

She's close enough to shore, but Jason is already there!

LYNDA: No! Please don't-- !!

Jason STEPS on her head- pinning her face underneath the

water- drowning her. Once her life is sucked away- he lifts his
foot off her head and leaves her lifeless body in the water.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/PARKING LOT- NIGHT

The car from the elderly couple's house parks next to the
minivan. The door opens and Michael gets out. He shuts the door
and walks toward the entrance.

INT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/ABANDONED CABIN- NIGHT

Audrey, Kassie, and Clayton enter an abandoned cabin. Old

couches, an old kitchen, a hallway with bunk rooms, and an
upstairs.

CLAYTON: Wow. I would hate to sleep in this cabin.

KASSIE: You're not alone.

They walk into the living room.

AUDREY: These couches are old.

KASSIE: Try sitting on one of them.

Clayton walks to the kitchen and opens the fridge- a RAT hops
out! Clayton jumps out of the way.

CLAYTON: Oh, shit!

KASSIE: What happened?!

CLAYTON: A fucking rat!

KASSIE: Where!

CLAYTON: It went somewhere underneath the counter.

Kassie sighs in relief.

KASSIE: Thank god. I hate rats.

Outside a window, Michael watches them.

KASSIE: I'm done looking in here, let's go explore those bunk

rooms.
AUDREY: I kinda want to look upstairs.

KASSIE: Okay, we don't have to go together.

Kassie walks down the hall. Audrey goes upstairs. Clayton stays
where he is. He walks to the living room and sits on one of the
couches.

CLAYTON: This isn't very comfortable.

He gets up and is startled by a deer head sticking out of the wall.

He slowly backs away.

CLAYTON: Jesus. Where did you come from?

He suddenly bumps into Michael! He spins around and Michael

immediately grabs Clayton by the throat and covers his mouth to
muffle his screams. Michael lifts him off his feet and moves him
toward the deer head. Michael SHOVES Clayton's body through
the antlers. He tilts his head, analyzing his work.

INT. BUNK ROOM- NIGHT

Kassie enters a bunk room- nothing but old dusty bunk beds.
Michael stands in the doorway, watching her. Kassie sits on a
bed, then lays down on her stomach. Michael enters the room
and approaches Kassie.

KASSIE: This actually isn't that bad.

Michael STABS Kassie in the back! Blood pours from her mouth,
coloring the pillow! Michael STABS her again, again, again, again,
and again until she's lifeless. Michael leaves the room.

INT. UPSTAIRS- NIGHT

Audrey walks around what used to be a game room. There's an

old pool table. Audrey looks at it. In the background, Michael
slowly comes upstairs and approaches Kassie.

KASSIE (jokingly): Hey, Clayton. Want to play pool with me?

Michael is close behind her. She turns around and screams.

Michael strikes at her with his knife! She dodges. The knife hits
the pool table. Audrey falls to the floor. Michael hovers over her,
knife raised. She KICKS him in the balls. Michael bends, dropping

the knife and covering his groin. Audrey gets up and runs
downstairs.

INT. LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN- NIGHT

AUDREY: Clayton! Kassie! We have to go--!!

She gasps when she sees Clayton's body stuck to the antlers. She
runs down the hall.

AUDREY: Kassie!!

INT. BUNK ROOM- NIGHT

Audrey runs into the bunk room- sees Kassie's body on the bed.
She covers her mouth and backs away slowly.

AUDREY: Oh. My. God.

She turns to leave the room- Michael is standing in the doorway.

She turns back around and runs to a window. Michael approaches
her. Audrey breaks the window open with her elbow and climbs
out.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE- NIGHT

Audrey runs away from the cabin.

AUDREY: Tony!! Josh!! Clark!! Lynda!! We have to get out of

here!!

She runs into the woods.

AUDREY: Tony!! Clark!! Where are you!!

She TRIPS and falls to the ground- finding herself in front of the
log where Clark's body is! She screams and gets up- Michael
SWINGS his knife at her! She ducks underneath his arm and
runs. Michael follows. Audrey runs until--

EXT. TRAIL

She's out of the woods and onto the trail- where Jason is!

AUDREY: Holy shit!

She turns around- Michael is approaching! Jason approaches too.

Michael goes to stab her and Jason swings his machete at her- at
the same time! Audrey ducks, dodging both attacks. The weapons
CLASH. Audrey distances herself from them, but watches them.
Michael and Jason look at each other. Jason turns to Audrey and
is about to walk toward her when Michael STABS him in the head!
Michael turns to Audrey. Audrey runs. Michael begins to follow.
Jason removes the knife and STABS him in the back! Michael
removes the knife, turns around and STABS Jason in the
shoulder. At the same time, Jason PLUNGES his machete through
Michael's chest! They both stand frozen. Michael forces the knife
deeper into Jason's shoulder while Jason pushes the machete
deeper until there's nothing sticking out of Michael's chest except
for the handle. Michael has the bigger impact- he drops to his
knees. Jason removes the machete. Michael collapses. Jason
removes the knife and STABS Michael with it- leaving it sticking
out of his back. Jason walks away.

EXT. PARKING LOT- NIGHT

Audrey runs to the minivan. She stops to catch her breath. She
looks back- Jason walks onto the parking lot, heading her
direction. Audrey quickly gets inside the van.

INT. MINIVAN- NIGHT

She hops in the driver's seat. No keys!

AUDREY: Damnit, Tony! You had to put the keys in your fucking
pocket?!

Through the windshield, Audrey sees that Jason is getting closer.

EXT. TRAIL- NIGHT

Michael gets up, removes the knife from his back and grips it-
ready to finish what he started.

EXT. PARKING LOT- NIGHT

Jason is right outside the minivan. He stares at the windshield-

Audrey isn't there anymore. He looks into the windows on the left
side of the van.

INT/EXT. MINIVAN- NIGHT

Audrey is hiding on the floor of the backseat. Suddenly- Michael

emerges from the dark behind Jason, grabs him by the head, and
SLAMS his face into the window of the van. Glass falls into the
backseat. Audrey quickly crawls across the floor and opens the
door on the right. She falls out of the car.

Michael wraps his arm around Jason's throat and repeatedly

STABS him in the back. Michael SLAMS his knee into the spot he
stabbed Jason. Jason falls to his knees. Michael keeps his arm
around Jason to keep him in place. He grabs a long thin sharp
glass shard from the broken window and JAMS it into Jason's eye.
Michael lets Jason go- he collapses. Michael picks up the machete
and PLUNGES it into Jason's chest. Michael turns his head to see
Audrey running back toward the camp. He follows.

EXT. WOODS- NIGHT

Audrey runs back to Clark's body.

AUDREY: Jesus. I'm going to throw up.

She avoids looking at his face and bends down, reaches into
Clark's pocket, and takes out the keys. She stands- Michael
GRABS HER BY HER THROAT and pins her to a tree- CHOKING
her. Audrey gasps for air and kicks her feet out. Michael holds the
knife in his hand, thrusts his arm backward, getting ready to
make his lethal blow. A HAND grabs his shoulder. He spins
around- Jason drives the machete through Michael's body.
Michael releases his grip on Audrey, enabling her to run. Jason
removes the machete, then SHOVES it deeper into Michael's
body- the long blade going through the tree. Jason removes it
and SWINGS it toward Michael's neck. Michael blocks with his
right hand- getting his fingers CUT OFF! He uses his left hand to
SWING his knife at Jason. Jason blocks with his machete-
knocking the knife out of Michael's hand. Michael throws a PUNCH
at Jason- Jason blocks with his hand, grabs Michael's head and
BASHES it into the tree repeatedly until Michael is unconscious.
Jason lets Michael drop and picks up the knife. Michael sits up!

Jason SHOVES the knife into his brain! Michael falls back into
unconsciousness. Jason lifts Michael's leg and drags him.

EXT. TRAIL- NIGHT

Jason drags Michael onto the trail. He looks down at him for a
moment, then turns and walks away. He stops and turns around
to see Michael gone from the spot he was left at! Jason draws his
machete and walks to where Michael was. He looks around-
wondering where Michael could be. Suddenly, Michael wraps his
right arm around Jason and repeatedly STABS him in the back of
his head. Before he delivers another blow, Jason grabs Michael's
left hand and BREAKS it, causing him to drop the knife. Jason
spins around and HEADBUTTS Michael- causing him to stumble
backwards. Jason SWINGS his machete- SLICING Michael's
throat! He SWINGS again, SLASHING Michael across the face!
Michael falls to his knees. Jason gives a good STRIKE to Michael's
head- sending him straight to the ground. Michael sits up
suddenly! Jason KICKS him in the face- sending him back down.
Jason repeatedly STOMPS on Michael's face, turning his pale
white mask into black from the dirt underneath his boot. Jason
does this until Michael is unconscious again. He walks past
Michael's body-

EXT. WOODS- NIGHT

-and into the woods. He finds a tree stump. He bends down and
gets ready to lift it up, until Michael comes out of nowhere and
PLUNGES his fingers on his broken hand deep into Jason's head
and repeatedly BASHES Jason's face onto the stump until he's
motionless. Michael picks up the machete and JAMS it all the way
through Jason's head and into the stump.

Michael walks back onto the trail, picks his knife up, then walks
back into the woods to see Jason missing from the stump.
Suddenly- Jason WHACKS Michael from behind with a slim but
heavy log. Michael falls to the ground and tries to get up when
Jason WHACKS him back down. Jason raises the log up and
repeatedly BASHES Michael with it. Once Michael is motionless,
Jason throws the log away and picks up his machete- raises it
high and STRIKES down toward Michael. Michael rolls out of the
way- the blade hitting the ground. Michael stands. Jason SWINGS
again- Michael dodges. Jason is about to SWING again- Michael
grabs Jason's arm with his broken hand and ELBOWS it with his
right arm- causing Jason to drop the machete. Michael catches it
with his hand and PLUNGES it into Jason's stomach- PINNING him
to a tree. Michael removes it and is about to strike again when
Jason KICKS him in the groin and BACKHANDS him PRETTY HARD
in the face- making him fall. Jason gets ready to STOMP on
Michael until Michael drives the machete straight up Jason's
crotch! Jason squats. Michael removes the machete and stands.
He SWINGS the machete with one hand- STRIKING Jason across
the face. Jason falls but gets back up. Michael STRIKES him in the
face again- GOING AT IT with one hand. Jason keeps stumbling
back and forth. Michael makes one more good swing- SLASHING
Jason's throat! He then SHOVES the machete into Jason's
stomach. Michael spots a HUGE LOG with LONG SHARP ROOTS
sticking out of it behind Jason. As Jason removes the machete,
Michael gives him one good KICK- sending him straight into the
root! The root PIERCES Jason's body- sticking out. Jason is
motionless with the machete still in his hand. Michael bends
down, about to take it when it suddenly STABS him in his chest.
Jason lifts himself off the root and GRABS Michael's throat. He
removes the machete and lifts Michael off his feet, turns him
toward the log and THROWS him down- the root violently
PIERCING his body! Jason gives the log a great KICK and watches

it ROLL fast with Michael's body stuck to it down toward the lake
area. Jason makes his way to the lake area but finds Michael
MISSING from the log. Michael suddenly STABS Jason in the eye
with the root from the log! Jason stumbles forward. Michael
approaches him. Jason removes the root and spins around-
SHOVING it into Michael's eye! Jason KICKS Michael- sending him
falling halfway into the water! Michael removes the root from his
eye and is about to get up, until Jason WEIGHS his foot down on
his head- pinning it into the water- DROWNING Michael- like he
did to Lynda. Michael struggles while Jason keeps his foot on his
head until Michael is officially drowned. Jason takes his foot
down, lifts Michael's leg and begins walking in the lake, dragging
Michael with him. When he's far enough, he PUSHES Michael's
body further out into the lake. Jason stands there, watching
Michael float until he sinks.

VOICE (O.S.) Jason…

Jason looks down at the water and sees the reflection of his
MOTHER.

PAMELA VOORHEES: My special boy… it makes me proud

watching you kill those trespassers- but there's still one left. Your
job isn't done yet, Jason. Now find her- teach her what happens
when she steps foot on our property.

EXT. CRYSTAL LAKE/POLICE STATION- NIGHT

A minivan parks outside the police station. Audrey gets out and
runs inside.

INT. CRYSTAL LAKE/POLICE STATION- NIGHT

The chief and police are greeted by a screaming Audrey.

AUDREY: Help me, please! My friends were murdered! He killed

them!

The chief intervenes.

CHIEF: Settle down, miss. Who killed them?

AUDREY: Michael Myers! But there was someone else- he was

wearing a hockey mask- that Jason guy! Jason Voorhees!

CHIEF: Hold on, miss. Jason Voorhees has been dead for years.

AUDREY: No he's not! All those stories about him are true!

BACKGROUND OFFICER: This is just a Halloween prank, chief.

Don't fall for it.

AUDREY: It's not! I swear! You have to believe me!

CHIEF: Miss, please calm down. Now who else did you say was
there?

AUDREY (calmer): Michael Myers. My Uncle- he tried to kill me

when I was a kid. I thought he'd never find me again, but he did.

Audrey bursts into tears and throws herself into the chief's arms.

AUDREY (sobbing): Please don't let him get me.

EXT. CRYSTAL LAKE- NIGHT

Cars passing by and a few kids still out trick-or-treating. JASON'S

MASK suddenly comes into frame.

EXT. CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE- NIGHT

We are focused on the vacant dock on the lake. Silence. What

could possibly go wrong? A HAND grabs the edge of the dock.
MICHAEL lifts himself out of the water and onto the dock-
dripping wet.

Michael makes his way back to the trail and finds his knife on the
ground. He picks it up.

INT. CRYSTAL LAKE/POLICE STATION- NIGHT

Audrey is seated on a bench with a coat wrapped around her. The

chief brings her a cup of water.

AUDREY: Thank you.

She sips.

CHIEF: Now I've heard about Michael Myers before. Wasn't he

that little boy who murdered his older sister, then fifteen years
later, escaped from prison and went after his other sister?

AUDREY: Yes. Her name was Laurie Strode. She was my mother-
but she died of a heart attack.

CHIEF: And now Michael has come after you?

Audrey nods.

CHIEF: Okay. I'm going to start by asking you where you and
your friends were tonight?

AUDREY: We went to Camp Crystal Lake.

CHIEF: Camp Crystal Lake? That place has been abandoned for
years. Why did you go there?

AUDREY: My friends thought that because today is Halloween,

we'd do something scary so we went there to explore it.

CHIEF: Then what happened?

AUDREY: We split up. Then-- (voice stammers) then--

Suddenly, JASON BREAKS THROUGH THE DOOR! Audrey

screams. Every officer immediately FIRES their weapons at Jason.

CHIEF (to Audrey): Don't move!

The chief joins the gun party. Every bullet hitting Jason is doing
zero harm to him. Jason quickly approaches the officers. He
SLICES one of their heads off with one blow of his machete. They
all lunge at him with their batons. Jason PLUNGES the machete
into one of their shoulders and GOES AT IT- SLICING AND
DICING every officer in half! The chief is the last one standing. He
continues to FIRE his gun until he runs out of bullets. Jason
SLASHES him across the throat- instantly killing him. Audrey runs
out of the station. Jason follows.

EXT/INT. MINIVAN- NIGHT

Audrey gets back inside the minivan. She pulls out of her parking
space and floors the vehicle down the road. She looks into the left
side-view mirror to see Jason standing a distance away. She
turns down a vacant road and comes to a HALT when she sees
MICHAEL standing in the middle of the road- knife gleaming in
hand.
