.1. What is the primary objective or purpose of the Sustainable Development Goals of
the United Nations?
2. What is the standardized unit that measures resource use and waste?
The standardized unit that measures resource use and waste is the global hectare, also
known as the GHA. This is essential, as it serves as the basis for knowing how
countries produce and consume our natural resources and how that could affect our
world in general.
The threshold of the earth for adequately sustaining life is 1.8 hectares according to
the module and 1.9 hectares according to current studies. It collects data to assess our
consumption of natural resources, serving as a reminder that our resources are finite.
Thus, it encourages people to be mindful of their actions, which may greatly affect it.
6. How many hectares should each of us consume annually based on the resources
available on the planet?
According to the resources available on our earth, each of us should use 1.8 global
hectares annually.

our definition of progress in order to prevent this from happening.

countries to 'catch up" with rich ones?
According to Dr. Jason Hickel, we should "de-develop," a theory where rich countries
"catch down" instead of urging developing countries to "catch up," an idea that
proposes a new way of attaining progression without overconsuming our world.
10. How would the different areas of the world react to the idea of de-development?
