ACTIVATION OF SAP BEST PRACTICES WITH SOLUTION BUILDER

(1) Start the Solution Builder by double-clicking it

(transaction /n/smb/bbi).

(2) Choose Solution.

First you import the reference content with the solution scope files and
installation data files. Start with importing the solution scope files.

(3) Choose Import.

(4) Choose Solution (XML).

SAP recommends that you check SAP Note 2226371 before you start
activation. The Note includes the latest activation information and the
latest reference content updates. You find this on the SAP Support Portal
at support.sap.com/notes.

(5) Choose From reference content.

(6) Choose BP_OP_ENTPR_S4HANAX_USV1.XML

The solution scope file defines which installation data files are required
and contains the complete scope for the selected solution. The structure
consists of scope items, building blocks, and activities. Each activity
points the relevant settings and installation data file.

(7) Choose Back.

The installation data contains the solution installation settings

(configuration settings and master data). Before it is written into the
customizing tables a customer solution needs to be created and the scope
has to be selected.

(12) Choose INST_FILES_US_BP_S4BL_S4HANAX_OP.ZIP.

(13) Choose BP_OP_ENTPR_S4HANAX_USV1.

(14) Choose Copy.

(15) Enter the Solution ABI, and choose the Description field.

(16) Enter the Description ABI Inc., and choose Confirm.

(17) Select Copy Installation Data.

(18) Choose Confirm.

(19) Choose Favorite.

Now you have created a customer solution as a copy from the reference
solution and set it as a favorite. Next you will deselect the scope that is
not required.

(20) Choose Edit.

(21) Deselect the scope item US_BJ8_OP Make-to-Stock Production - Process Industry.

(22) Click at the scroll bar to scroll down.

(23) Deselect the scope item US_J82_OP Ariba Network Integration.

(24) Deselect the Released Language Chinese.

(30) Select the Solution ABI.

Your customer solution is ready to be activated. You use the

Implementation Assistant to copy the installation data for the selected
scope items into the customizing tables.

Review the structure before you start activation.

(32) Open the Scope Item US_BD9_OP Sales Order Processing: Sale from Stock.

(33) Open the Scope Item J56 (XX) Enterprise Structure.

(34) Open the folder Creation of Organizational Structure.

The Building Blocks required for configuration (example BG0 (XX), MAA,
...) are listed below each scope item. There is an additional structuring
layer inside the Building Blocks. The ordered list of configuration activities
are on the lowest level and can be carried out using the configuration
guides or by starting the activation.

(35) Choose Activate.

Before activation starts, you need to complete some settings and the
system will conduct consistency checks.

(36) Select the Target Language.

(37) Open the Languages list.
