PERFORMANCE TASK
General Guidelines:
1. Identify which entrepreneurial habits you currently possess/practice. Give actual scenarios of how
you demonstrated each habit in your daily life.
2. Devise an action plan to acquire and practice all entrepreneurial habits.
3. Using 05 Journal 1, create a journal (starting on Week 6 to Week 18) detailing your conscious
effort to practice each habit.
Entrepreneurial Habits (20 points)

Growing up in a very strict religious Muslim family taught me to use fear and anxieties as a fuel. I
think that since I was highschool I learned to use my fears and anxieties as a fuel, because my
parents and family did have high expectations of me specially in my academic performance. The
pressures I had those days were very intense that at some point during my high school I had mental
breakdown. I once got a low grade in my Math subject, that did disappoint my parents which made
them scold me for being lazy and not doing enough to have good grades. It really was disappointing
to think that they base their treatment on my grades. If I were to have good grades they would
congratulate me and love me, but whenever I have low grades they scold me endlessly and act like
as if they don’t love me. so I used my fear of having low grades as a fuel to learn more, to study
more, to do my best and surpass my limitations. Today I still practice that kind of habit, though I
view it now as a challenge to myself and as a reward to myself. I do it for myself not for my parents
or family. I want my sleepless nights studying have good results, some says that grades is just a
number, but for me grade is like the symbol of my determination, hard work, sleepless nights
studying, learning, and simply me doing my best.

Action Plans (20 points)

For me to acquire all the entrepreneurial habits, I need to have a plan. I think I firstly need to
accept new ideas and new environment in order for me to adjust and learn these habits. I will need
to research about some certain ways to acquire or enhance these habits. I also want to have these
habits for my future, so learning it one by one may be effective but it will take me long. But
learning it all at once may not be effective. So I would prefer to learn it one by one slowly but
surely. I think that acquiring these habits are not only important just because it concerns business,
but also it will improve me and make me grow as and individual. I can apply it not only in work but
in my daily life.
