CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED RIG,


ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES

The items and services listed below, including any transportation required for such items, shall
be provided by the CONTRACTOR and shall be considered as minimum requirements only.
Where manufacturers names are specified, they represent standard of quality only. With
SAUDI ARAMCO's prior approval equivalent items of other manufacturers will be acceptable.
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for repair, maintenance and operation of all items listed
in this Schedule.

CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 6th REVISION OF SAUDI ARAMCO WELL
CONTROL MANUAL, ALL MATERIALS REQUIRED TO MEET REQUIREMENT OF NACE
MR-01-76, H2S TRIM TO MEET NACE MR-01-75.

CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH SAUDI ARAMCO, DRILLING &


WORKOVER SWIM & HSERM 2020 REVISION.

SECTION A DRILLING/ WORKOVER UNIT SPECIFICATIONS

1. Cantilever Offshore Jack-up Rotary Drilling Rig;


Equipped for workover, development and exploratory drilling operations, capable of
performing the WORK to the depth as specified in Schedule 'B', 4.1.2, in water depths
from 25' (including spud can protrusion) to 250' drilling vertical depth of 30,000 ft. Unit
shall be capable of withstanding maximum leg penetration of 85', minimum extension
of cantilever to be 70 feet measured from the edge of the hull to the centerline of the
rotary table and a 15 feet minimum tranversing capability of the drilling package, port
or starboard of the rig centerline.

The unit shall be a self-elevating, independent leg, jack up barge for unrestricted
operation in the Arabian Gulf and must meet the following maritime requirements as
updated and amended as follows:

1.1 International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) recognized


Classification Society

1.2 IMO International Convention on Load Lines, 1966 all subsequent revisions
including 1988 and 2003.

1.3 IMO International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), the 1974
SOLAS Convention, the 2014 SOLAS protocol, all subsequent amendments
including the 2010 amendments and Global Maritime Distress and Safety
System (GMDSS).

IMO International Conference for the Prevention of Pollution at Sea by Ship's
1973 and 1978 (MARPOL) as accepted by SAUDI ARAMCO and the Kuwait
Convention for the Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine
Environment (ROPME, 1978) as ascended to by Saudi Arabia.

5.1 Towing chocks bridle (minimum breaking strain 150 tons) and handling gear w/
Smith-Lloyd quick release devices located at bow, port and starboard towing
points. Diagram of towing brackets position shall be provided prior to technical
review & acceptance by the SAUDI ARAMCO Marine rig move group. –
Mansoor – B/E in progress of upgrading as per Aramco requirement

5.2 Towing bridle must be equipped with a Delta plate at the central towing point
that is designed & certified. – Mansoor – B/E in progress of upgrading as per
Aramco requirement

6. Platform Elevating System

6.1 Suitable length triangular/ square all steel legs with spud cans suitable for hard
and soft seabed conditions. Spud cans shall be equipped with low and high
pressure jetting equipment to facilitate retrieving out of soft sea beds.
CONTRACTOR shall provide a footprint diagram including hull protrusion and a
spud can drawing with leg cord tie in points to enable divers to verify leg
penetration prior to technical acceptance. . – Mansoor – B/E Verify

6.2 Rack and pinion type jacking system capable of jacking the platform up and
down at a minimum rate of 1 ft/ min with normal and emergency jacking variable
load. Each leg shall operate independently of each other. – Mansoor – B/E
Verify

6.3 CONTRACTOR shall provide normal and emergency-jacking weights, in kips,


above lightship weight, prior to technical acceptance. . – Mansoor – B/E Verify
6.4 CONTRACTOR shall provide phone stations (Intercom) at each leg to permit an
observer to communicate with the operator at the control console. – Exist
Telephone & During operation handheld radio given to leg captain

6.5 CONTRACTOR shall provide a suitable leg length monitoring system that will
provide the jacking operator a precise reading of the amount of leg(s) below the
hull without leaving the jacking console. – OTD /EMS system available

7. Substructure and Cantilever

7.1 The substructure and cantilever shall be designed for multi-well drilling and to
allow positioning of the well center at a minimum of 70 feet aft of the stern and a
minimum of 15 feet port or starboard of the rig centerline, permitting
independent skidding in longitudinal and transverse directions. – Meets
requirement

7.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide a skid plot with maximum allowable weights at all
positions of the cantilever and transverse package prior to technical
acceptance. – Meets requirement

7.3 The cantilever and transverse skidding package system shall be capable of
skidding at a minimum of 1.5 feet/ migune and with a setback load of 250 kips
in both transverse and longitudinal directions on or off the centerline. – Meets
requirement

13. Rotary Hoses

20. Emergency Generator

20.1 One (1) each- Caterpillar emergency generator rated to a minimum 50 degrees
C ambient operating temperature, cold, battery and pneumatic auto start
capability with spark arresting muffler driving One (1) each 700 kW, 875 kVA,
continuous AC generator, auto synchronized, with the facility to back feed to the
main power supply. The emergency system shall power the safety equipment
and provide minimum equipment for well safety defined in the current HSERM /
SWIM requirements and/or the following minimum equipment below:

C. One (1) Mixing Pump/Transfer Pump. Meets Requirements
D. One (1) Drill Water Pump.- Need to install & connect

All MODU's shall have a Drill Floor PCR System Emergency Shutdown Switch and a
Main Engine System Emergency Shutdown Switch at the Driller's Console.- Available In
addition, a Main Engine Emergency Shutdown Switch and a Dead Ship Emergency
Shutdown Switch shall be provided in the MODU Control Room.- Dead ship switch not
available in control room.

20.3 One (1) - Set of 24-volt batteries powered by the main or emergency system
through a static rectifier. This set of batteries shall power the, general alarm
system, communication system and dead ship lighting in the event of a total
power failure. Dead ship lighting throughout the drilling unit shall be provided
through independent batteries on the emergency lights in accordance with
current HSERM / SWIM requirements –Checked with ET & C/E battery pack

21. Air Compressors


21.1 Minimum Three (3) - 496 SCFM at 125 psi working pressure with dedicated
dryer system, complete with auxiliary line to allow connection to an auxiliary air
supply.- Meets requirement

21.2 Minimum One (1) each 683 SCFM at 40 psi compressor with one (1)
independent reducing station and dedicated dryer system for the bulk material
system. Unit shall have crossover line to main air compressors. - Meets
Requirements

22. Raw Water Pumps

22.1 Three (3) electric submersible or top drive pumps with a minimum pumping
capability of 1600 gal / min. per pump with a total head 100 feet.- Meet
Requirements 1500 Gal @ 228 FT & 2200 Gal @ 190 FT.

22.2 Deep Well pump system shall have an automated pressure control capability in
accordance with current HSERM / SWIM requirements. – Mail Sent to Ibrahim

23. Sewage Treatment System

23.1 Unit capable of processing waste for a minimum of the vessels maximum rated
personnel. – Meets Requirements

23.2 Unit and the maintenance of the unit must meet the standards of SAES-A-103
of the Saudi Engineering Standards and SASC-S- of the Saudi Aramco Sanitary
Code. (Available Schedule 'D') Need to check Mechanical & Marine

24. Water Maker System

24.1 Two (2) Reverse Osmosis or equivalent, capable of producing 250 bpd each
with the water produced also available for mixing mud, cement slurry and
spacers whenever required.- Going to upgrade with water Tek / RO 72cubic/
day & approximate +/- 375 BPD

24.2 One (1) Automatic chlorine injection system that maintains the chlorine levels in
the potable water tank(s) as specified by SAUDI ARAMCO Environmental
Health Code, SASC-S-01. (Available Schedule 'D') – Come along with unit
Mechanic need to confirm automatic system or not.

Note: In the event the CONTRACTOR provides evaporation type units,


CONTRACTOR shall provide heaters to guaranty water production at low
power load intervals.

25. Mud Pumps

25.1 Three (3) each electrically driven triplex pumps with a minimum of 2200
horsepower each and equipped with 7,500 psi fluid ends. CONTRACTOR shall
furnish Three (3) sizes, (6-1/2", 6" and 5-1/2") ceramic liners, high temperature
pistons and accessories as required- In IR for mud pump spares send on 14 Jul
2022

Mud Tanks and Mixing System

26.1 Minimum 4000 bbls. Total useable volume (does not include processing tanks)
with zero dead volume in each tank. – Meets requirements Exist 4758.3 bbls

26.4 Mixing system shall consist of the following:

A. A minimum of Five (5) each - 6" x 8" 100 HP centrifugal pumps with sized
impellers for mixing and transferring of the weighted drilling fluid in use. –
3 Ea existed and 2 Ea mixing pump upgrading by Keppel

B. A minimum of four (4) each mixing hoppers, Two (2) each to be a shear
type to facilitate the mixing of polymers, with separate suction and
discharge lines to and from each mud tank, including the surface
processing tanks. The system shall be designed so both mixing hoppers
can be used simultaneously. Two (2) shall be equipped to handle bulk
material from the rigs bulk tank system. Mixing area must have adequate
ventilation. With piping to each pit from hoppers with ability to mix and suck
out of any tank and discharge into any other tank. – Upgrading in progress
by Keppel

C. A main deck hopper shall be provided for mixing SAUDI ARAMCO supplied
supper sacks and will be equipped with a SAUDI ARAMCO
approved super sack support cradle. Shipyard Upgrade in progress

Note: CONTRACTOR can elect to supply a combination unit capable of
processing the drilling fluid at the required flow rates as requested in 27.2.•
27.3. and 27.4.

27.5 One (1) vacuum mud degasser complete with vacuum pump driven by 5
HP explosion-proof motor and dedicated centrifugal 6" x 8" pump with
100 HP explosion-proof motor processing capability of 1000 GPM. –
Meets available 1200 GPM

27.6 One (1) - Atmospheric type (35 bbls minimum capacity) mud/gas separator
equipped with an anti-siphon device. The degasser volume shall be sized to
the circulating capacity of the well control equipment. Unit shall be built in
compliance to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division I
and NACE. Documentation shall be presented that vessel was hydrostatically
tested to 190 psi as per ASME. – Waleed WCE working on it , will upgrade new
MGS

27.7 A pressure gauge to monitor the pressure within the separator A remote
pressure transmitter may be used for this purpose but must be capable of
operation without dependence on rig air supply or rig electrical power. The
MGS must be equipped with a means of monitoring pressure (normally a low
pressure differential sensor, typically 20 psi/1.4 bar with a remote reading at the
choke panel). Bypass arrangement provided to the mud/gas separator in the
event of system overload or malfunction. Well fluids should be directed to an
emergency overboard line. Waleed WCE working on it , will upgrade new MGS

27.8 Sufficient space and access to the processing mud tanks for Two (2) each SAUDI
ARAMCO supplied centrifuges and its associated equipment. – Need to Remove

Cementing Manifold
30.1 3", 10,000 psi design pressure with a 50 ft., 10,000 psi working pressure hose,
dedicated standpipe, overboard wash down line a and tie in point to the
CONTRACTOR supplied standpipe manifold for cement displacement.
CONTRACTOR must supply sufficient valves, crossovers, etc to connect to
SAUDI ARAMCO supplied cement heads from the requested hose – Meets
Requirement.

30.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide sufficient 2", 10,000 psi working pressure steel
hose, valves, crossovers and swivel 90 Deg ells from CONTRACTORS
requested standpipe in 30.1 to CONTRACTORS circulating sub for operations
exceeding the pressure requested in Paragraph 30.1. – IR made sent to
Procurement for process.

30.3 Two (2) each 90 ft., 3" 600 psi hose(s) to go from SAUDI ARAMCO casing
spool side outlet valves to shale shaker junction box / flow line or trough, for
mud returns during cementing or completion operations. All hoses shall have
molded or welded connections with 3" 1502 Weco unions – IR send, Waleed
working on clarification.

30.4 As per the 6th edition of the well control manual, There shall be Three (3)
high
pressure lines from the cementing unit, each 3¼" diameter,
10,000 psi working pressure as follows:
 One (1) line shall go to the choke and kill manifold; monogrammed to API Specification 6A
 One (1) emergency kill line from the cement pump to BOP stack via hard pipe below the
cantilever pipe rack deck; Monogrammed to API Specification 6A and
 One line will go from cement manifold to the cement standpipe on the rig floor- Waleed
WCE working on it , will upgrade & confirm.

specifications outlined in the 6th Edition of SAUDI ARAMCO WELL CONTROL
MANUAL and H2S trim to meet the current edition of NACE MR-01-75. All well
control equipment and components must be API monogrammed

1.0 As per SAUDI ARAMCO Class "A" 10,000 psi Standard and Class "B" 3000 psi
Standard; including required adaptors, flanges and spools for CONTRACTOR
furnished BOPE and SAUDI ARAMCO wellheads. Prior to commencement, the
contractor shall provide to SAUDI ARAMCO the following OEM certifications:
A. Dimensional Specifications
B. MPI and Brinell / Rockwell testing results
C. OEM elastomer material verification
D. Certified copies of OEM pressure testing charts

1.1 All replacement parts, fasteners and seal elements for the BOP equipment
under contract to SAUDI ARAMCO must be manufactured by the SAUDI
ARAMCO APPROVED original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Complete
traceability of all BOP parts, fasteners and seal elements must be maintained
by the CONTRACTOR and supplied to SAUDI ARAMCO upon request.

1.2 All BOP seal elements are to be stored as per manufacturer's


recommendations as to eliminate or reduce the exposure to:
A. Sunlight
B. Extreme temperature and moisture
C. Dust, oils and other contaminates
D. Areas of electrical current generation – Rubber store Fabrication need to
done
1.3 CONTRACTOR must have in place and carry out the manufacturer's
recommended preventive maintenance program for all BOP equipment. The
CONTRACTOR shall perform a complete OEM shop re-certification every 36
months to all components of the CONTRACTORS WELL CONTROL

2. Ram Preventers

 One ( 1) 13 5/8" 10,000 psi working pressure Double Ram Preventer. The
bottom cavity of the double gate shall be equipped with Shear/ Blind Rams
(SBR's). If required, the operating cylinders for the SBR's shall be equipped
with boosters to provide the capability to shear the CONTRACTORS supplied
heaviest weight DRILL PIPE. Additionally the ram preventers shall be equipped
with Four (4) each 4 1/16", 10,000 psi side outlets with non-ported blind flanges
installed. Waleed WCE working on it , will upgrade & confirm

 One (1) 13 5/8" 10,000 psi working pressure Double Ram Preventer . The ram
preventers shall be equipped with Four (4) each 4 1/16", 10,000 psi side outlets
with non-ported blind flanges installed Waleed WCE working on it , will upgrade
& confirm

 CONTRACTOR will be required to use Blind / Shear Ram Assemblies and it will
be required that the master ram assembly is capable of supporting the hang off
drill string weight as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Waleed WCE
working on it , will upgrade & confirm

2.1 Should the CONTRACTOR inadvertently deploy the shear rams, any resulting
loss or damage to the drill string or any well equipment
(including the cost of removal of any such damaged downhole
equipment, until operations return to normal) shall be for CONTRACTORS
account in accordance with Schedule "A", Paragraph 7. Such an inadvertent
deployment shall constitute a "negligent act or omission of CONTRACTOR"
under Schedule "C", Paragraph 9. In the event of an intentional deployment in
a well control situation, SAUDI ARAMCO shall reimburse the CONTRACTOR in
accordance with Schedule "C", Paragraph 9. – As per contract meets
requirements

3. Auxiliary Equipment

3.1 One (1) certified 2 x 75 ton (minimum) independent BOP hoist system, hydraulic
/ pneumatic / electric capable of lifting and transversing the complete BOP
assembly to the setback area complete with appropriate lifting devices`. –
Meets requirements

3.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide a suitable stabilization / tie-down system


for the blowout preventer when the hoists requested in 2.10 are
removed and the preventer is on the well. – Waleed will confirm about
BOP tensioner sling.

3.3 CONTRACTOR shall provide, One (1) each Hydraulic Torque Wrench with
torque readout panel. Wrench assembly shall include all inserts to fit, tighten

(1) each, 3 1/8" 10,000 psi working pressure flanged side outlets. Waleed will

7.2 One (1) each 21-1/4" flanged, 2,000 psi Diverter Spool with Two (2) each, 7
1/16" flanged, 2000 psi side outlets and One (1) each, 3 1/8" 2000 psi, flanged
side outlet, offset 90 deg to the 7 1/16" outlets for installation of a kill line. The 7
1/16" outlets shall be equipped with Two (2) each hydraulic controlled gate
valves with a minimum working pressure equal to the rated pressure of the
Diverter Spool. A Lo-Torq valve and adapter, 31/8" 2,000 psi, flanged to Weco
1502, of minimum working pressure equal to the Diverter Spool shall be
installed on the 3 1/8" side outlet. Waleed will confirm & PO issued

Adapter and Lo-Torq Valve shall have integral welded connections.

7.3 One (1) each 30" flanged, 1,000 psi Diverter Spool with Two (2) each, 7 1/16"
flanged, 2000 psi side outlets and One (1) each, 3 1/8" 2000 psi, flanged side
outlet, offset 90 Deg to the 7 1/16" outlets for installation of a kill line. The 7
1/16" outlets shall be equipped with Two (2) each hydraulic controlled gate
valves with a minimum working pressure equal to the rated pressure of the
Diverter Spool. A Lo-Torque valve and adapter, 3 1/8" 2,000 psi, flanged to
Weco 1502, of minimum working pressure equal to the Diverter Spool shall be

with Inserts packer ID of 10", 17 ¾" and 22" with working pressure 500 psi. Unit
will consist of flow line spool with 2 each flow line seals and will terminate down
with EC-6 pin assembly. The unit will have liner packer pulled. All additional
equipment will be required to run the assembly, including but not limited to the
following

A. Overshot Spool Assembly, 30 feet long or as required for air gap and
BOP space out.
B. Type KFDJ Overshot Packer Assembly with 30" EC-6 Box up. Radial
lifting eyes and length to facilitate CONTRACTOR's space of the BOP /
Single Conductor Deck/ Air Gap
C. Handling Clamps, Type EC-6. Designed to handle Overshot Spool and

8.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide the required spacer spools to space out the
CONTRACTOR's Blow Out Preventers as per the drilling units
configuration from SAUDI ARAMCO's casing, tubing spools and drill floor
elevation.

9. Choke Manifold / Choke and Kill lines

9.1 The CONTRACTOR shall supply 4-1/16" 10,000 psi choke and kill manifold and
the associated lines and the and CONTRACTOR will submit drawings and
configuration, prior to technical acceptance and SAUDI ARAMCO WELL
CONTROL GROUP approval.
Note: The intent of Section B, Paragraph 9.1 of this Schedule is for the
CONTRACTOR to provide all the required piping, tees, blocks, target flanges,
valves, Coflex hoses, applicable spares and backup equipment as required for
compliance to the industries best practices and its applications for Sour Gas
Service.
10. BOP Control System I Accumulator Unit

10.1 One (1) each 3000 psi accumulator system with a minimum number of stations
to function the CONTRACTOR's BLOWOUT PREVENTER equipment and
SAUDI ARAMCO supplied 26-3/4" BLOWOUT PREVENTER EQUIPMENT,

without the assistance of the charging system.

10.2 The accumulator shall be equipped with an air source from the cold start air
compressor for emergency operation. In addition, the CONTRACTOR shall
equip the accumulator unit with a "low accumulator pressure" warning light and
audio alarm with a secondary warning light located at the drillers console.

10.3 One (1) auxiliary remote electric-operated, mini control panel to be located in
the CONTRACTORS supervisor's office.

10.4 One (1) auxiliary remote electric I air operated panel to be located on the rig
floor. This panel on the rig floor shall be accessible to and visible by the driller
and be unobstructed. Additionally this panel must be certified for a Class 1,
Division 1 area.

10.1 Safety Valves / Drill String Float Valves

5.3 All cross overs must be full OD. Bottles crossovers are unacceptable.

6. Drill Pipe, Drill Collar and Tool Inspections:

6.1 All drill pipe and collars shall be suitable for working under H2S environment as
stated in Schedule B, Paragraph 4.1.5. All drill pipe, drill collars and tools shall
be of premium or better grade on commencement of CONTRACT. All joints will
be numbered and stamped/stenciled, including date, for easy reference.
Identification will be located on bevel and end of pin. All used pipe inspections
shall conform to DS-1 level 4 with UT upset.

6.2 Prior to commencement of the CONTRACT, CONTRACTOR shall supply initial


inspection and certification of all drill pipe, drill collars and drilling tools at
CONTRACTORS cost. CONTRACTOR shall present a copy of the last
inspection report for the drill pipe designated to the rig contracted. In addition,
CONTRACTOR shall provide a statement of the footage drilled since the last
inspection, the cumulative footage drilled with the pipe and the
CONTRACTOR's maximum pull limit for each class and weight of drill pipe.

6.3 All subsequent inspections shall be carried out by the CONTRACTOR using the
following criteria:
A Type of inspection service is to include sonic tubular
inspection of drill pipe walls, magnetic particle and UT inspection
of all tool joints as well as drill pipe upsets.

B. Third Party inspection for drill pipe shall be required


every five (5) months or 50,000 feet of drilling whichever occurs
first.
C. Third Party inspection for fishing jars and bumper subs
shall be required every six (6) months; actual
maintenance performed shall be documented.

D. Drill pipe shall be withdrawn from service when graded


below API Premium Class by inspection.

E. Additions and replacements shall meet premium grade,


and be manufactured using a quench and tempering
process.
F. Drill collars and drilling tools shall be inspected prior to
their use at each change in drill collar size and/or each
change in hole size or 250 hours, whichever is less.
Drilling tools are defined as all stabilizers, reamers,
hole openers, fishing tools, crossover subs, saver
subs, safety valves which were utilized in drilling or
completing a specific section of hole. Heavyweight drill
pipe shall be inspected each change in hole size or 250
hours, whichever is less if run in compression.

2.1 MODUs shall be equipped with an internal multi-channel (Minimum 4-Channels)


Gai-Tronics or D&WO approved equivalent communications system, supplied
for a UPS Power Source, with sufficient stations and speakers to contact all
operational areas of the rig. Acoustic Cabins shall be provided in all high noise
areas.

2.2 One (1) each shall be located at or in the Third Party wire line logging unit,
cementing unit and directional drilling unit and Two (2) portable units to be
placed at SAUDI ARAMCO'S discretion. In addition, the two portable units must
be explosion proof for Class 1, Division 1 areas. The system shall comply with
current HSERM / SWIM requirements.

2.3 System for "hands off-talk back" between the drill-floor (driller's position) and
(derrick man's position) on the racking board (explosion proof).
3. VHF Marine Radio

Two (2) each DSC (Digital Selective Call) VHF marine radio as required by
drilling/workover unit Classification Society. Radio shall operate on the unit
main I emergency power and shall be equipped with battery back up.

1. Transportation of Contractor's Equipment within Saudi Arabia

1.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide transportation of CONTRACTORS personnel


onshore within Saudi Arabia including required sedans, pickups, buses, and
other vehicles.

1.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide transportation of all CONTRACTOR's


supplies including foodstuff for the drilling / workover unit, onshore within Saudi
Arabia. CONTRACTOR shall supply a refrigerator / cold box of sufficient
capacity and equipped with electrical plugs compatible with electrical
receptacles on SAUDI ARAMCO supplied supply vessels.

SECTION H. ACCOMMODATIONS

1. CONTRACTOR'S Personnel

1.1 Complete facilities to provide meals and living quarters for all CONTRACTOR's
personnel and to accommodate a total of a minimum of 120 personnel.

2. SAUDI ARAMCO and Service Personnel

2.1 Living quarters and meals for Sixteen (16) SAUDI ARAMCO Grade Code 11+
and Service Personnel. The cost of the meals to be reimbursable to
CONTRACTOR in accordance with rates specified in Schedule "C" of the
Contract.

2.2 Living quarters and meals for Twenty six (26) SAUDI ARAMCO Grade Code 3-
10 personnel and service personnel. The cost of meals to be reimbursable to
CONTRACTOR in accordance with rates specified in Schedule "C" of this
Contract.

2.3
Two (2) offices for ARAMCO personnel, one (1) office for the ARAMCO
company men and the second office for the ARAMCO Drilling Engineer, the
ARAMCO Geologist, the ARAMCO Rig Clerk and Service contractors. Each
office shall be fully equipped with standard office furniture consisting of a
minimum of desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, shelf space for files, telephone
systems as requested in Section D, 2.1, 2.2 and sufficient room for Two (2)
Desk top
computer systems. All electrical power is to be 110 volt 60 Hz, with sufficient

2.4 Living quarters for the Company Representatives should consist of Four (4)
separate single man rooms with private bathrooms. In addition, the rooms shall

SECTION I. SAFETY EQUIPMENT

CONTRACTOR to comply with current SAUDI ARAMCO HSERM / SWIM


requirements.
1. Lifesaving Equipment

1.1 Applicable MODU code/ Class approved lifeboats and muster areas. In
addition, a T-Card or personnel accounting system shall be available at both
lifeboat stations and the procedures of the accounting system available for
review.

1.2 Sufficient Life Rafts with a total capacity of double the number of personnel the
unit is certified to have onboard. The life rafts will be positioned equally on both
sides of the unit, shall be hand launch able and be equipped with hydrostatic
releases. Each life raft station must be clearly identified.

2. Life Vests

2.1 PFD's shall comply with current IMO requirements. Equivalent to the maximum
rated amount of personnel aboard the drilling unit plus 25% excess and stored
in each stateroom and special containers located at strategic areas around the
drilling/workover unit.

3. Ring Lifebuoys

3.1 The number and location of the ring buoys shall comply with SOLAS Chapter Ill
and class requirements.

4. Sick Bay

4.1 One (1) sick bay with easy access to main deck. Sickbay is to be equipped with
all equipment related to emergency medical requirements. It shall be a
designated treatment area and not used as a living space.

4.2 First Aid equipment as specified in Attachment II of Schedule "B".

4.3 CONTRACTOR shall maintain the medical facilities as per Saudi Aramco
Sanitary Code, SAEHC.

5. Personnel Protection Equipment

5.1 Safety equipment for CONTRACTOR's personnel to include but not limited to:
6. safety shoes, hard hats, work gloves and safety glasses - as needed.
Fire Extinguishers

6.1 Fire Extinguishers quantity and placement shall be in accordance with the
current IMO requirements and the vessels Classification Society.

6.2 SAUDI ARAMCO approved manually actuated fixed fire extinguishing systems with
specific shutdown interlocks shall be provided for the engine room, SCR room,
MCC room, VFD room, paint store and galley hoods in accordance with the
applicable requirements of the current HSERM and SWIM.

7. Fire-Fighting System
7.1 BOP/ Well platform area Fire Fighting systems to comply with the defined
requirements of the current HSERM / SWIM

7.2 MODU Fire Hose stations shall comply with the defined requirements of the
current HSERM / SWIM

7.3 Helideck Foam Fire Fighting system shall comply with the defined requirements
of the current HSERM B-10(a), Section-11.

8. Fire Pump System

8.1 A minimum of two (2) electric fire water pumps sized in accordance
with the current HSERM / SWIM.

8.2 A Helideck Foam Fire Fighting system Fire Water Pump in compliance with
the current HSERM / SWIM shall be installed.

The Helideck electric fire water pump shall be connected to the


emergency power supply bus.

8.3 A pressure control system specifically designed for reliable seawater


fire service shall be provided to ensure a minimum nozzle operating
pressure in accordance with current HSERM / SWIM requirements.

9. Warning System

9.1 Battery backup powered General alarm system.

10. Auxiliary Equipment

10.1 Warning signs and safety notices to be displayed in strategic areas around the
drilling / workover unit.

10.2 Sufficient axes, hacksaws, crowbars, knives, gloves, croppers, and other
miscellaneous equipment as required by the Company Representative.

11. Smoke/ Toxic and LEL Gas Detectors/ SCBA Equipment

11.1 Sufficient amount of smoke and thermal detectors in the living spaces, galleys
and machinery spaces of which terminate into a master alarm panel located in
the radio room or area with a 24 hour watch in accordance with current HSER ri O
/ SWIM requirements.

11.2
Gas detectors and H2S detectors. CONTRACTOR shall at its expense install,
maintain, calibrate and otherwise keep the entire H2S detection / protection
equipment in first class operating condition. CONTRACTOR shall provide
monthly certification of proper functioning of the Gas / H2S detection equipment
by a SAUDI ARAMCO approved third party inspection service company. The
H2S / LEL sensor and alarm placement aboard the MODU is detailed in the
current HSERM / SWIM standards.
11.3
A cascade type breathing air system consisting of the following minimum
equipment shall be provided, installed and maintained on the MODU by the
CONTRACTOR in stringent compliance with the requirements of the current
HSERM / SWIM standards.
11.4
Sufficient breathing air storage bottles shall be located at strategic locations
around the drilling/workover unit and connected in a loop system. The minimum
breathing air capacity of the system shall be in accordance with current HSERM
11.5 / SWIM requirements.
Work manifolds shall be provided at the locations specified in 11.3 and where
personnel will be expected to perform duties while using the breathing air
system. Additionally manifolds shall be provided at the lifeboat muster area and
shall have enough outlets to correspond with the certified capacity of each
lifeboat plus Twenty-five (25) percent excess. Each outlet at the manifold(s)
shall be equipped with a breathing air hose of sufficient length for personnel
separation in accordance with the requirements of the current HSERM / SWIM
standards.
11.6
Three (3) breathing air compressors, one (1) of which shall have an
independent power supply in the event the drilling/workover unit has a total loss
of main power. These units shall be located in an area not classed as Class 1,
Zone 1 and shall be located in an area that has a reduced chance of
contaminated outside air supply. A compressed breathing air quality test kit with
tubes for detecting H2O, CO2, CO and oil mist shall be available in accordance
with the requirements of the current HSERM / SWIM standards.
11.7
CONTRACTOR shall provide the required 30-minute SCBA units as specified in
11.3 with sufficient hose line distributed to various locations around the MODU
in accordance with the requirements of the current HSERM / SWIM standards,

CONTRACTOR shall provide the equivalent 15-minute SCBA units with
sufficient hose line as per the maximum certified allowed personnel aboard the
drilling/workover unit plus Twenty-five (25) percent. These units will be made
available to the personnel in their staterooms. Additionally, a specified amount
of 15-minute SCBA units will be made available a various locations around the
drilling/workover unit equipped with communication devices in accordance with
the requirements of the current HSERM / SWIM standards.

Cascade BA Manifolds and the associated certified breathing air hoses shall
comply with the applicable requirements of current HSERM / SWIM standards.

11.10 CONTRACTOR shall provide and insure that all personnel are certified in the
use of the breathing air equipment and are familiar with SAUDI ARAMCO's
H2S Contingency Plan required in the current HSERM.

12. Fire Fighting Gear

12.1 Each designated member of the Rig Fire Fighting & Rescue Team (s) as
defined in the applicable Rig Fire Attack plan, shall be provided with a full set of
firefighting gear in accordance with the applicable requirements of NFPA-1500
or equivalent as identified in the current HSERM / SWIM standards.

13. Helicopter Crash/Fire Rescue (CFR) Box

13.1 One CFR Box to contain the equipment defined in the current HSERM /
SWIM standards.

14. RIG SENSORS AND INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEMS

2. Data acquisition system including any processor/CPU/controller modules,


power supplies, and communication modules (Ethernet, fiber, or wireless)
should be a certified system with intrinsically safe sensor connections.

3. Data acquisition system including any processor/CPU/controller modules,


power supplies, and communication modules (Ethernet, fiber, or wireless)
should be a self-contained rated enclosure capable of operating in -40C to
+60C temperature range.

4. CONTRACTOR shall ensure sensors are calibrated as required and develop a


sensor and data QA/QC procedure for each rig. Such procedure shall be kept
at the rig and be available for Aramco to audit. CONTRACTOR shall also be
responsible for the inspection and recertification for all rig instrumentation at
least every 3 months.

5. Preventive maintenance of the data acquisition system, including sensors, must


be ensured by CONTRACTOR on a regular basis to ensure data quality
through functionality checks and proper calibration.

6. CONTRACTOR shall push the required data into the dedicated Aramco
WITSML stores URL, using Transmission Control Protocol {TCP) via the
credentials provided by Aramco from job to job.

7. All the channels streamed by the rig CONTRACTOR should have the same
time stamp for any given time. Time Stamp must be validated at the spud of
each job and must be at local time (GMT+3). Time Stamp must be
synchronized at the spud of each job and every month onward. The time must
be at local time (GMT+3).

8. The data streamed must be in the industrial standard format WITSML (1.4.1 or
later).

9. Time based data will be streamed into a single WITSML log object with the
below specified naming:

• Surface_Time_XX : Depth based data will be streamed into a single


WITSML log with the below specified naming:
• Surface_Depth_XXXX will be replaced by the corresponding
abbreviation for the rig/service company. For example -
Surface_Time_ADC, Surface_Depth_SIN, Surface_Time_NAB

10. CONTRACTOR shall stream data at 1 record or more every one second (time
based) and 0.5 feet (depth based). CONTRACTOR shall stream data using the
below method:

• Ethernet/TCP IP
• Outbound http/https port opened (80/443)
• WITSML 1.4.1.1or higher

11. CONTRACTOR shall push a secondary feed at high frequency (>5 Hz) with
format OPC UA or Modbus TCP to be used by Aramco at the rig.

12. CONTRACTOR shall provide all required installations for connecting their
machines to Aramco VSAT switch located in the Aramco foreman's office and
send the WITSML data to Aramco over Aramco VSAT switch.

13. CONTRACTOR shall provide seamless data transmission to the Aramco rig
data acquisition system (rig computer), continuously from spud to rig release.
The rig computer must comply with the following minimum requirements:

• Com Ports -2 no's (for a WITS out back-up)


• 8 GB RAM
• Ethernet port

14. CONTRACTOR shall provide trained personnel at all times to fix/troubleshoot


any issue related to data transmission interruption.

15. CONTRACTOR shall remedy any issues causing data interruption within 2
hours from receiving Aramco's request.

16. CONTRACTOR shall remedy any issues with mnemonics or units of


measurements within 2 hours from receiving Aramco's request.

17. CONTRACTOR hardware shall have the capability to buffer at least 24 hours of
uninterrupted real-time data and in case of data interruption transmission, once
the interruption is fixed, buffered data should be pushed/re-transmitted to
Aramco store. For any extended outages where data is not sent,
CONTRACTOR must be able to provide a historical LAS/WITSML file to enable
manual data patching.

15. CCTV SYSTEM

CONTRACTOR should provide CCTV cameras to have a full vision of the entire
Rig. The CCTV system shall provide 24/7 local security surveillance and real time
monitoring from SAUDI ARAMCO representative office in location. The
CONTRACTOR shall provide the following as part of the CCTV system;

1. supply, install, test, commission, repair and maintain, in readiness for operation, a
complete Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system (the "CCTV System").

2. install the necessary infrastructure such as and including the necessary conduits and
cables required for the operation of the CCTV System.

3. install CCTV cameras at all (entrance/exit) doors and ensure the camera covers all
surrounding areas the rig and shall be based on coverage analysis developed by
CONTRACTOR and approved by SAUDI ARAMCO Representative. The CCTV
cameras shall have a full vision of the entire rig site (minimum 6 cameras).

4. Install CCTV cameras with 24/7 local security surveillance that can be monitored from
SAUDI ARAMCO representative office on rig location.

5. CONTRACTOR shall maintain the 24/7 CCTV cameras operation and recording full
HD 1080p resolution and 30fps.

6. make sure no interference with other rig systems during all operations.

7. provide a complete CCTV System that can provide active surveillance under all
weather conditions including low light, complete darkness, dense fog and sand storms.
The CCTV System should endure all rough weather of Saudi Arabia including high
temperatures (60+), low temperature (subzero), high humidity and rain.

8. provide full High-Definition (HD) resolution 1080 pixels cameras or higher with video
motion detector and internal 200GB (minimum) DVR micro SD.

9. provide minimum 22" LED Full HDTV with built-in anti-burn technology in SAUDI
ARAMCO representative office.

10. provide display monitors with dual power input.

11. provide camera housing type IP-66 and IK07 or higher.

12. provide a backup source of power in case the primary source of power has been shut
down or suffers a breakdown.

13. provide a secure recording system up to 60 days.

14. ensure at no point within the cameras coverage the illuminance shall not be less than
23 lux for 24/7.

15. maintain the quality of monitoring and recording 24/7.

16. carry out all necessary final system setup tests and commission to ensure
performance of the CCTV System. This shall include the access control to the CCTV
System and offer hands-on training to SAUDI ARAMCO's staff on the system's day to
day operation and video retrieving activities.

17. comply with all applicable SAUDI ARAMCO codes and relevant standards at all time.

18. prepare a risk assessment study before installing the CCTV System.

19. provide a CCTV System that is explosion proof, if and only if located in hazardous areas.

provide and maintain a CCTV System that shall be functional with full vision in all
weather conditions 24/7.

21. provide suitable transportation during the installation, uninstallation, regular


maintenance, emergencies, and all other times during the WORKS related to the
CCTV System.

22. provide adequate qualified and experienced English speaking management and
supervisory personnel to administer the WORK, and sufficiently qualified
CONTRACTOR Personnel to perform any and all WORKS related to the CCTV
System.

23. provide all necessary and required courses and training to CONTRACTOR Personnel
so that access can be authorized by SAUDI ARAMCO to the rig.

24. only utilize companies approved by the Saudi Ministry of Interior.
