Home HealthCare

(AppointMe)

Statement about the problem:


Our topic is home health care solution. It services rendered by
members of the health professions for the benefit of a patient.
Home is where we feel safe and secure. But there can be
circumstances when even in the safety of our four walls we
may face some adverse situations and may need urgent
healthcare solutions for a disease that requires continuous
medical consulting and needed to be regularly updated hence
we need a quick solution to this problem. This is one such issue
where our app AppointMe comes into the rescue.

Why is the particular topic is chosen: Health care is a sector


that demands utmost attention and solution to the varied
problems that still persist in this area and needs to be solved
using latest technologies. This is a topic really close to our heart
because we had lost our dear ones in the pandemic that we
have been through recently and want to contribute the least
from our side.
Objective and scope of the project: Objective of our
project is to create such a software which uses machine
learning and artificial intelligence to assist the patient without
the actual involvement of a person or a doctor. The Our
application will provide the functionality such as one to one
advising between patient and doctor, helps to find nearby
hospitals and clinics according to your health concern. Our
main idea is “Consult under the comfort of your home”.

Methodology: These are following steps to achieve our final


product.
1. At first, we will be creating a very interactive user
interface (UI).
2. Then we will be creating a register and sign up page.
3. Then we will be working with database in our app to store
doctors and patients' data.
4. We will create an automated chatbot which interacts with
the user by asking some questions about the symptoms.
5. Based on the machine learning model it will determine the
disease and show necessary precautions and also provide
the list of doctors available for the disease.
6. In the future improvements we will also work on sensor
dataset analysis given by some IOT devices attached in the
patient’s affected body part and based on the Machine
learning model we plan to give report about the condition
of patient and provide it to the doctor for further
consulting.

Software to be Used: HTML, CSS, React Js, Node Js, APIs,


NoSQL (Database).
Python modules used: Tkinter, Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib,
Sklearn

What contribution would the project make: Our app will


provide the functionality such as one to one advising between
patient and doctor, helps to find nearby hospitals and clinics
according to your health concern. Keeping in mind that modern
problems need modern solutions we created everything
automated without actual involvement of human beings except
the patient and the accuracy of our machine learning model is
high so there’s very less chance of any mistake.
