How to do Economics projects?

Economics Class XI (2022-2023): Total Marks: 100 Passing Marks: 33


Theory: 80 Passing marks: 26 Project: 20 Passing Marks: 7
Students will have to pass separately in theory and project.

Objective of Economics Project:


 to provide opportunities to acquire analytical skills to observe and understand the
economic realities.
 to provide opportunities for the learners to explore various economic issues both
from their day-to-day life and also from issues, which are broader and invisible in
nature.
 understanding of some basic economic concepts and development of economic
reasoning which the learners can apply in their day-to-day life as citizens, workers
and consumers.
 realisation of learner’s role in nation building and sensitivity to the economic issues
that the nation is facing today.
 development of understanding that there can be more than one view on any
economic issue and necessary skills to argue logically with reasoning.

Scope of Project: Students work


Students may work upon the following lines:
1. Introduction
2. Details of the topic
3. Pros and Cons of the economic event/happening
4. Major criticism related to the topic (if any)
5.Students’ own views/perception/opinion and learning from the work.
6. Any other valid idea as per the perceived notion of the student who is actually working
and presenting the Project work.
7. Students are expected to apply the economics concepts that they have learnt over the
years in order to prepare the project report.
8. The Project Report should be handwritten by the students themselves in A-4 size paper.
9. Use more pictures, data ,logos, flow charts etc. (Only at the left hand side of the page)

Here students will write the objective, aim or the purpose of the project. hey they have
selected this topic and in the whole project what he is going to do there.

After this page students are to follow 2,3 and 4 points of scope of the project given above.

Following essentials are required to be fulfilled in the project:

discussing the variations of results they have got.)
10. Bibliography (Bibliography includes all the sources they have used. It can be a
website, Wikipedia, books, magazines, journals and newspaper reports. They should
clearly mention the original work by the author, date of publication, page & chapter
no of the book etc)

The Project should be handwritten by the students themselves in A-4 SIZE PAPERS.
It should be submitted on or before 30th August 2022 to the respective subject teacher.
