customs and traditions, every nation presents a different view on virtue ethics.
Filipino cultural ideas of loob and kapwa. The prerequisites for an act to express
fascinating at the same time, are discussed in the course on Filipino virtue ethics.
Typically, some people anticipate receiving benefits each time they display a
kagandahang lob. I may not be speaking for everyone, but today's society values
else. However, the kagandahang loob who gives freely and without wanting
anything in return is the real deal. One quote from my aunt, that stands out to me
is, "Kapag nagmagandang loob ka, after the act, you actually forget it. The one
who remembers it, is actually the person who receives such support." Indeed,
that is the fundamental concept behind kagandahang lob. The word "will" is lob
because of this. a desire to help others out of concern and empathy. The
even the smallest and most straightforward deeds. People often have utang na
loob because they are appreciative of the assistance they receive and wish to
return them. This is how Filipinos deepen their bonds with one another. It serves
virtue ethics. People today should quit considering getting something back, as
I've noticed. That is not giving, after all. That is being egotistical. Selfish
individuals have an eye for a kabutihang loob, but they also have an eye for
loob.
2. As I read the full range content of the material, I can say that Filipinos are unique
and stand out in the whole world. Filipinos have may different characteristics and
races in life but somehow we connect in some aspects of our life one of the
fundamental ideas that guide Filipino behavior and interpersonal interaction is the
for Filipinos to achieve than the fear of failing the task at hand. They can try to
give a face to those around them by complimenting them and refraining from
direct criticism to prevent feeling ashamed. To evade hiya and instill kapwa,
great sense of warmth and friendliness and like interacting with others. Strangers
word "to pull out" (hugot) is usually used to illustrate someone who is bringing
outlook on life goes hand in hand with their kind and upbeat behavior 'bahala na'
(come what may) expresses the emotional belief of many Filipinos that whatever
This reveals a fatalistic mindset commonly in the country, where people accept
their circumstances and those of others without complaint. Filipinos are not
passive, though, so this is not a bad thing. Instead, they put forth a lot of effort to
support themselves and their family and frequently try their hardest.
3. I can truly say that I’m a true and proud Filipino for some different ways that
makes Filipino shine among other races. Foreigner says that Filipinos are
wonderful people. I firmly believe in that and I, myself can testify to that since we
and many more. We are also known for being hardworking because despite how
hard the job is, we always do our best just to accomplish it with or without help
from others. In the whole world, Filipinos are best describe as the most
that's the most common in our personality. For example, when have visitors in
our houses, we tend to give our guests the most delicious food we have, cook for
them, or make them feel at home and comfortable because somehow it makes
us happy when we see our guests enjoying our company. Also, we are also jolly
people that no matter what problem or endeavors we face in life, we still manage
to smile and laugh. One of the features of being a Filipino is having a tan skin or
kayumanggi and small noses and for me, it is our strong assets because nothing
beats the true beauty of Filipino and I say that I'm a proud Filipino because I have
those. We are plenty of gorgeous Filipino men and women out there who have
unique appearances. Because for me, when you disrespect the traits of your
ancestors, you are only insulting yourself. We, Filipinos, use our lips when we’re
telling or pointing out something and we use the words “Ha?” when we cannot
hear something or when we want someone to repeat whatever they are saying.
When it comes to food, one trait of Filipino is eating with our bare hands and
having it down as a technique because we got it from our ancestors and the love
