About Us: Founded in 2013, Labor Solutions, a social enterprise, leverages technology to engage
and educate workers. Our data sets bring needed transparency to reduce risks throughout
workforces and the supply chain. Our tools and services are created using user-centric &
inclusive design to engage and connect with the entire value chain of stakeholders.

Through our tools, Labor Solutions aims to improve factory workers’ wellbeing, health and
financial functions both at workplace and at home. Labor Solutions’ flagship product is WOVO,
a mobile phone-based worker voice and worker wellbeing tool with more than 1.5 million users
and availability in 25 countries and 19 languages.

Our client base is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a qualified Full Stack Python
Developer (7+) to join our Tech team. In this role you will be working remotely with the rest of
the tech team in India leading the development of our tools as well as support the Jr team in their
development. We are expecting this senior candidate to guide the team along the while
completing the task on time and take ownership for the development and performance of our
products across the board.

What you’ll be doing:


• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Perform Code Review of other team members.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant
applications
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with
server-side logic
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions.
• Liaise with the product management team and architect the application /
improve the architecture wherever necessary.

Who we are looking for:


• 7+ years of overall Experience.
• Strong Practical knowledge and understanding of RESTful API
• Excellent Python coding skills and understanding of Python best practices (PEP8)
• Should handle a team of minimum 4 members
• Excellent detail-oriented, problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn
and apply new concepts, principles and solutions
• At least 4+ years of good hands-on experience in Python, with knowledge of
Django
• Good hands-on experience in SQL Database (MYSQL / Postgres)
• Familiarity of Front End Development ( ReactJS )

• Hands-on experience in AWS.
• Knowledge of AWS services like S3,Lambda,SQS,RDS
• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ .
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GIT.
• Has experience of working in Agile Environment.
• Fluent in English (written and oral) Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely with great communication skills for remote work
environment.
• Knowledge on AWS is an added advantage
