QUES:-Create a manual by writing steps and pasting screenshots of Mail-
Merge.

Step1- Open a new word document and type a sample letter which you want
to send to multiple people.
Step2- Now go to Mailing option and select ->Start Mail merge

Step3- In start mail merge drop down, click on step-by-step mail merge
Step4- Now a new window appears in the right side of the screen - >select type
of Document as-LETTER- Click on next.

Step5- In the window which shows step2 of 6-select –Choose current


document and click next
Step6- Under option-Select recipient-Choose->Type a new list>click on create.

Step7- In the new window for creating the address list, type the name and
other details of the recipients after personalising the columns required
Step8 - Again go to mailing tab and select->insert Merge fields->insert all the
fields in the space one by one, where you want it to appear in your sample
letter

Step9- Now finish merging the text with letter by going to mailing tab again-
>select->Finish & Merge and select->Edit Individual Documents.
Step10 - Once clicked on Edit individual document-select->Merge all records
and click on ok

Step11 - All personalised letters with complete information is ready

QUES. Create a spreadsheet of the purchases made by a customer in a super
mart having the following fields:
a. S. No.
b. Product ID
c. Product Name
d. Product type
e. Quantity
f. Price Per Unit
Note: All the field names should be bold and underlined. Also Insert Borders to
the spreadsheet. For the spreadsheet created above, find the total bill, using
the auto sum facility of MS Excel.

Step-1 Add all the fields and other information.
