WARNING
Power off the machine and disconnect the power
cord for the machine.

__1 Open DADF top cover.


__2 Flip over DADF input tray. Fig 1a
__3 Remove the 5 screws in the clear plastic cover and
remove the cover. (Fig1)

__4 Remove size sensor 2


__5 Separate one adhesive dot from pack. Press dot at end
of sensor film strip. (Fig 1a). Making sure to keep top part
of adhesive dot separate remove a second adhesive dot
and press against film strip opposite 1st dot (Fig 1b). Pull
the two adhesive dots apart and the clear film backing
should separate from the tint film. (Fig 1c).

__6 Sensor is divided into two windows. (Fig2a) Center


the film over the sensor with it biased to cover the window
closest to the connector. (Fig 2b)

__8 Continue to attach the sensor film to the sides of the


sensor and bring together on the underside. There will be
extra material you can leave it or trim it back slightly. (Fig
4)

__9 Reinstall Size Sensor 2.


__10 Reinstall Rear DADH Cover.
__11 Power on machine and confirm operation of DADH
and document glass copying

__7 The back side of the sensor film has adhesive on it,
press down on the face of the sensor and ensure it is
smooth over the window. (Fig 3)
