Last week, we were able to learn about self-expression and create our own unique self-portrait using
different tools and materials available at home.

Lesson 3: Task Number 2: Family and Home Portrait

This week, we will be doing a family and home portrait. In this activity, you will be creating an artwork
of your house and your family using different cut-out shapes. Parents/adults, kindly assist your children
in doing this activity especially with using scissors and cutting of the shapes. We encourage that you ask
questions and engage in conversation with your children as you go along the activity. ☺

Before starting the activity, you may watch this video first as an introduction about family:

their works and identify and count the shapes used.

Lesson 3: Task Number 3: My School

In this simple activity, the pupils will draw their concept of their school on a bond or Oslo paper. You
may use any drawing/coloring materials available at home. Simply ask the pupil to draw his/her school.
There are no right or wrong answers in art! It is important that the pupils will express their ideas about
school especially during the pandemic and that we are using a different platform in learning. We
encourage parents/adults to ask questions and engage in conversation with your children as you go
along the activity. ☺ Afterwards, take a picture of your child’s work and upload it in his/her LMS
account.
