SVKM’s NMIMS every year conducts the UG Entrance examination for class XII passed out / appearing candidates to be eligible
to their UG Programs across campuses.
The Entrance Examination is a computer based online examination to be held at the test centers. It is categorized into three
different categories namely:
NMIMS-NPAT
NMIMS-CET
NMIMS-LAT
The candidate has to ensure that they read all the instructions before registering.

RETAKE/S: Candidate can attempt maximum 2 RETAKES in any selected category i.e. (1 st main test plus 2 retakes). The
highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for respective school merit process.
Once the main exam delivery is done, candidate cannot add new school in the same category for retake, but he / she can
add new category of test.
No Rescheduling or cancellation is allowed
E mail confirmation:
Post scheduling of the examination, the confirmation mail from ([email protected]) will be sent
to candidate’s registered email ID. The same email / admit card needs to be presented at the test center at the time of
test. Candidate will received separate email for each exam scheduled.
Admit Card:
Post scheduling of the examination the admit card is generated. The admit card shows the chosen date of examination,
City and Test center.
This is available on the dashboard of the Candidate. Kindly download the admit card by logging to your dashboard.
Test Center:
Candidate needs to show the Admit card (soft /hard copy) to the Test center staff
The verification staff at the test center will compare the photograph on the admit card with the person appearing for
the examination. Therefore, candidate is requested to upload their recent photograph to avoid any confusion at the
test center.
Candidate also needs to carry any one original ID proof along with its photocopy to the test center.
List of ID proof that candidate can carry to the test center are as below:
Voters ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card / Driving License (Learner license will not be accepted) / 12 th Admit Card with
photo/ PAN Card.
The name on the original Government ID must exactly match with the name mentioned on the appointment
confirmation email.
Candidate will be allowed to attend computer-based test only on the scheduled date/ time.
Candidates should reach the test center at least 30 minutes before the time of exam.

Request to change the exam category or add Schools in the same category after the exam will not be entertained.
Candidate can register only once for each category. Duplicate registration from same candidate will be rejected even
if exam is taken
Candidate can register / pay for only 1 attempt from 15th May to 21st May’2023 in each category
Test center and date has to be chosen by the candidate only. Once chosen it cannot be changed.
Candidate will have to report for exam on the scheduled date and time only. Rescheduling or cancellation of exam /
registration is not allowed.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from recognized board:-
A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate or
DP or CP awarded candidates with 24 credits compulsory and has passed 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects
at Standard Level (SL) mandatorily from any stream.
Candidates of CBSE / ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) for 10+2 or
equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all the subjects the candidate has taken / opted and appeared for (not
best of four, five, six or seven). The candidate shall have passed all the subjects he / she has taken / opted and appeared
in the applicable examination/s in a single attempt. The aggregate percentage of all subjects the candidate has taken /
opted and appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the program at the
time of admission.
In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of
all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
Candidates above 25 years of age can apply for LLB programs only under NLAT Exam category. For all other programs the
age criteria is Maximum 25 years of age.
Those candidates who have passed or are appearing (all subject/s taken / opted) for 10+2 examination from a Board /
University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board / University
concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA / CGPA obtained.
IB & Cambridge Candidate: Candidates who do not have final mark sheet will be given “Provisional Admission” based on
predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed on submission of final
mark sheet before the commencement of the program, if found eligible. The candidate shall have to submit copy of AIU
notification to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s. The mark sheet/s /
transcript/s issued by Board / University shall only be considered. Mark sheet/Transcripts issued by
Board/University/school will be considered.
International School/s candidates and those candidates who have completed their (10+2) or equivalent examination/s
from overseas school/s / Institute/s / University will have to submit AIU certificate of equivalence (mandatory) to confirm
their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s.
Only single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects passed is mandatory, no compartmentalized mark sheet will be
considered.
Candidate whose final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission is required to upload internet copy/ DG Locker
of result duly attested by Principal of the school / college, failing which candidate will not be admitted for the program.
Candidate will not be eligible if any subject is marked as ungraded / fail in the mark sheet / grade sheet. For absent /
ungraded in any of the additional / non mandatory subject will be consider as eligible provided such candidate is declared
as passed by respective board.
Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they must obtain the
required minimum eligibility criteria of the respective program and produce the entire necessary documents, in original,
within the given stipulated time.
As per program eligibility the mandatory subject should be appeared and passed.
Selection Process:
Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT exam.
The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained
Note:
Candidates are required to update 12th or equivalent exam or predicted marks after the admission process.
Candidate will not be considered for merit list if they fail to update the correct information in the online registration
form.
It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct marks are entered.
At any given point of time, if it is found that the information given by candidate i.e 12 th or equivalent exam is incorrect,
the candidate admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded as per prescribed refund rules.
For Engineering: Candidates will be called for Counselling as per their merit. In the counseling session, candidates will be
given admission to various specialization as per their merit, choice and availability of specialization as per eligibility criteria.
Refund Rules: If a student chooses to withdraw from the program of study in which he / she is enrolled, the institution
concerned shall follow the following five-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by the student.

In case of (1) in the table above, the deduction will be 5% of the fees paid as processing charges from the refundable amount,
subject to a maximum of Rs 5,000/-.
Note: 1. The above refund rules are subject to revision as applicable.
2. Candidates to refer Important Dates of the respective program repeatedly to stay updated for the admission process.
