TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF :

Good day, my name is Indran A/L Saktianayakan, I’m 20 years old and I recently graduated from
Polytechnic Ibrahim Sultan with a diploma of mechatronics. While there, I learned a lot of theory in
subjects Engineering Maths, Occupational safety, and health administration and more. I was also
part of the student body and maintained a GPA of 3.75. I’m ready to apply my knowledge into
practice. While I don’t have any work experience in industry, but I have work experience in fast food
restaurant which is KFC and lorry clean dent. I’ve had a lot of exposure to the business environment
during internship working with real companies to solve real problems. Now, I’m looking to leverage
everything I’ve learned in polytechnic and get some hands-on work experience.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST STRENGHT:

I’m very communicative and really get along with people. After 8 months of experience fast food
restaurant which is KFC, I have no problem with building instant rapport and actively engaging with
customers. I’m also pretty good at performing under pressure. At KFC Restaurant, there was
constant chaos, especially during public holiday. The place was completely always packed, and the
whole thing felt like a race against time. I enjoyed the experience.

I also would say that it’s my time-management skill by far. During covid 19 pandemic, I managed to
maintain a 3.75 GPA, while at the same time doing part time job at fast food restaurant which is KFC.
Specifically, I attended online class at the morning and went to work after online class finished. I’m a
huge fan of scheduling pretty much everything I do. I need to know what I’m doing, when, and how
long it’s going to take me. This way, I’ve never missed a deadline, assignment, or any other
responsibility. On the other hand, you could also say that that’s my weakness, haha. If the
organization or team is unorganized, I’m not going to be so happy working with them.

I also would say that I’m hardworking person. When I was working as lorry clean dent during my
semester break, I had delivered spare part and hardware items to the all over Malacca hardware
shop. we all know hardware items are not light, but with a thin body, I can lift heavy items without
giving up.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST WEAKNESS

"I struggle with group organising." While it has never affected my performance, it has had an
influence on my grades. During my final semester, four students from each group must do a final
year project. My group leader was dissatisfied with the final year project and did not completely
commit to completing it. As a result, I took over as group leader and completed the project. It taught
me a valuable lesson if I picked the incorrect group leader and lacked adequate structure.

abilities, will be useful in this role. On the other side, I am a self-motivated individual who strives to
surpass my superior's expectations by producing high-quality work. As a quick learner, I rapidly
picked up business expertise relevant to my assignment. Finally, I'd like to mention that I work
effectively both as an individual contributor and as a team member. All of these qualities together
give me a full package for my profession."
WHERE DO YOURSLEF IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS ?

I hope to complete the internal training programme for my role in five years. I learned about it on
your website and believe it's a fantastic programme. Not only would I receive all of the necessary
training for my position, but I would also be on the fast road to becoming a project manager. That is
my primary professional aim. In addition, my dream route would entail working overseas for a few
years. I recognise that finding folks willing to do so is important to you.
