ENGLISH

I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:
a) Recognize and name the letter B
b) Identify and recall the sounding word of the letters.
c) Read a three letters word that start with letter B

II. Subject Matter:

▪ Low Tech: Instructional materials and Flash Card
▪ High Tech: Laptop, Power Point presentation and Video

D. Values: Obedience, cooperation and appreciation.

III. Procedures

A. Preparation
The teacher will begin the class by greeting the students, leading the prayer and
checking the attendance.

B. Motivation
The teacher will play a video about the story of letter B and the class will be listen
and watch carefully. After the short story presentation the teacher will present the
pictures of the things that mention in the story.

C. Lesson Proper
• The teacher will start the lesson by showing a flash card letter B.
• The teacher will also flash the lesson using PowerPoint presentation for showing
the students other objects or things that start with the letter B.
• The teacher will start to teach the sounding each letter of the word.

• The teacher will be teach how to read the CVC word to the students.

D. Activity
The students will read the words that flash on the power point presentation and if the
students will read it correctly the picture of that word will flash in the screen.

E. Generalization
To read three letters of a CVC word need to learn the sounding of each letter

F. Evaluation
The teacher will give a worksheet a matching type test to match the picture to the
word itself to evaluate the understanding of the lesson.

IV. Assignment
Cut and paste a picture that start with the letter B.
