Gaming - Whitepaper - Draft

This document provides an overview of Betabattle, a platform to facilitate wagering on games across any platform or device. It also discusses Betabattle's own games and tokenomics. The global gaming market is growing rapidly and expected to exceed $250 billion by 2025, driven by increased gaming during the pandemic. However, existing crypto gaming tokens are overly reliant on a single game's success. Betabattle aims to solve this by supporting wagering on any game, as well as offering its own games and tokens that provide benefits across multiple games. Its tokens will have incentives like cheaper fees and bonuses to add value beyond a single game.

Introduction

Betabattle is a unique and interactive platform developed to facilitate wagering

between online gamers on Any Game, Any Platform, Any Device.
Not only does Betabattle facilitate these transactions but it also offers its own
compelling gamification, ranking and evolution to a totally decentralized
governance.
Betabattle will become the go-to platform in the market as it is able to facilitate
wagering on any game, any platform, any device as well as having its own
amazingly engineered mobile games.
As well as being available for real money and cryptocurrency wagering, the
platform will also have its own tokenomics and cryptocurrency called
‘Betacrowns’.
Betacrowns will have unique discounts, rewards and incentives within the
game, giving them a much higher in-house value than other coins and
traditional cash.

Market

Market

Betabattle will operate in two markets.

1. The Online Gaming Market (Including Skill-Based Gaming)
2. The Blockchain Gaming Market (a mix of the Online Gaming Market and
the Blockchain/Cryptocurrency/NFT Market)
There are crossovers in these two marketplaces but here is an overview of
where the markets are currently.

Global Gaming Market 2021

Market is expected to exceed
$250 Bn by 2025

PC
$35.9 Bn

This is a very hot market right now with the growth expected to continue fuelled
by increases in gamers due to the pandemic.

According to Statista, gamers spend 45% more time gaming since the
pandemic, with 77% reporting that they are likely to continue at the same rate.

$157.3 M

The Crypto-Gaming Market is dominated by Asia–Pacific, mainly due to Axie

Infinity which in 2021 broke the $3 Billion trading volume mark.

In Q3 alone of 2021 NFT Games generated $2.32Bn in revenue. That one

quarter demonstrates the growth in the market over the last year increasing
the previous years total by over 700%.

The amount of games in the market also doubled to just over 400 in 2021 and
blockchain games now account for over half of ALL blockchain usage.

Again, largely due to Axie Infinity, geographically,
Asia-Pacific was the source of the most crypto-gaming
users in 2020, capturing over half of the total global users at 54%.

What is interesting is that similar to the global gaming market, the highest
revenue per user is North America by far.

Global crypto-gaming average revenue per user in 2020 was $7.66 with North
America averaging $24.33 per user.

The global gaming average revenue per user for 2021 is $58.60 with North
America averaging $202.86.

This makes North America the most lucrative market in terms of revenue per
user despite Asia-Pacific having the largest userbase.

Based on this our initial target will be the U.S.

8
Global Gaming Market Size

TAM = $175Bn

SAM = $43Bn

SOM = $25Bn

The Global Gaming Marketplace as a whole contains a little over 3.0Bn users
and is steadily growing.
Not only that, but the usage inside of the market has been enhanced by the
pandemic, with Statista reporting that Gamers are averaging 45% more time
playing games now, with 77% of those reporting that this habit will continue
even after the pandemic.
When you combine that with the fact that 66% of Americans are needing to
make additional income on top of their earnings there is a perfect storm for an
app like Betabattle to flourish.
American gamers of legal age amass to 125M and account for approximately
$25Bn in revenue.
Speaking of legalities another strong case for launching in the U.S. is that there
is a legal distinction between Gambling and Skilled Gaming (which we are) so
we will not require gambling licenses. This means that we can operate in 46
States and we have already received legal opinion on this.
9

Problem
10

Problem

As demonstrated the crypto-gaming market has exploded with multiple games

popping up, many gaining large userbases and huge amounts of revenue being
made.
The problem with the market as it stands is that all of the attached
cryptocurrencies are heavily reliant on the game that they are associated with.
Regardless of how clever the coins/tokenomics are, if the game is sub par,
then the coins/tokens do not perform as outlined to investors.
This creates investor losses and frustration as well as a drop in that
cryptocurrency’s intrinsic value.
From a “gaming perspective” the market is also lacking a centralized space for
user ranking and users are limited in ways to engage/match-make on multiple
games in one place.
11

Solution
12

Solution

At Betabattle we operate as an accompaniment to the gaming market and are

not attached to any one game.
This means that we have a much broader market than your average crypto-
gaming or standard gaming company.
Wagering can be accommodated for any game, any platform, any device as
well as our full suite of in-house mobile games.
These in-house games afford us the same opportunities that other crypto-
gaming companies have because the user can receive additional benefits by
using our tokens on our in-house games.
These benefits include (but are not limited to) cheaper rake fees, bonuses and
additional token/NFT drops.
This creates incentives and additional value to our tokens.
We also facilitate match-making across the whole
Gaming market as well as allow users to
be ranked, receive status recognition
and win prizes!
13

Tokenomics
14

Tokenomics

[Token A - ALPHACROWNS] A Governance Token which will be available in

limited supply with a multi-phased release based on active users/user activity.
These tokens will entitle the holder to a say in the governance and direction of
the platform as we evolve into becoming fully decentralized.

[Token B – AVATAR EGGS] NFT’s in the form of digital artwork pieces of the in-
house Avatars. These artworks can be used as player and social media profile
pictures and will have limited releases.
There will also be incentivized and random drops of NFT tokens that will enable
the holder to a one-off digital artwork of their current avatar including any
additional items that the user may have won or bought through the platform.
Holding an NFT with the platform will also entitle the holder to random prize
and token drops.
15

[Token C - BETACROWNS] A cryptocurrency that can be used in-house and will

be listed and traded on open platforms.
These tokens will hold a tradable value as well as offer the holder to in-house
discounts, rewards and other incentives based around the use of said token.
While these tokens will be afforded but not limited to the above, they will also
entitle the holder to randomized drops of both Governance Tokens and NFT’s.
Due to the aforementioned benefits to using Betacrowns they will hold a
greater in-house value than other cryptocurrencies and traditional cash.

History
The Crown is a unit of currency commonly used in Scandinavian countries
known for the emergence of Viking culture.
Vikings were expert navigators, experienced traders and fearsome warriors.
Through the Betabattle platform users will have to explore and navigate the
system, use cunning and guile to negotiate terms of engagement, and be
fearsome competitors in their chosen game.
What better heritage to name our currency after?

Avatar Egg Drop – Draft Plan (Subject to Change)

People can sign up and mint an egg. Once time is up/all eggs are sold then
there will be an ‘Egg Drop’ and eggs will be randomly assigned to the buyers.

The different eggs will depict what type of Beastie will come out – at that stage
the owners will know what type they have but nothing else.

There will then be a timeframe/countdown to when the egg will hatch – this will
give owners the ability to trade/sell their eggs accordingly.

Once the countdown is done there will be a ‘Hatching Event’ and the egg will
hatch revealing the Beastie, NFT Digital Artwork and Feature Card.
