LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN


S.Y. 2022-2023

IGB Samal Function House and Training Center shall continue to operate Senior High School and
shall further offer Blended Modality of Instruction. Along with the proposed program, the following
shall be implemented:

1. In compliance with the requirements provided under Item 6 Annex 3 of DepED Order No. 021, s.
of 2019, Permit to Offer Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) shall be proposed.

2. Enrolment process is Face-to-Face basis.

3. Conduct of classes shall be limited Face-to-Face and Blended Modalities. It shall offer Offline
instruction through the use of Modules, Activity Sheets and other printed materials aside from the
limited face-to-face.

4. During Face-to-Face is conducted strict practice of Social Distancing shall be implemented during
the conduct of classes. Thus, physical arrangement shall be based on the required appropriate
distances.

5. Learning Materials shall be prepared following the K to 12 Most Essential Learning Competencies
(MELC). These new MELC Curriculum Guides will be applied to all modalities.

6. Learning Materials shall be prepared in accordance to the required competencies for the use of
the students

7. In case of Online/Virtual modality, all necessary apparatus and internet connection shall be
provided for the teacher’s use during the conduct of classes.

7.1 Powerpoint presentations shall be sent thru FB Messenger for and easy retention of the
notes on the learner’s chat room.

7.2 Application such as ZOOM or Facebook Live shall be used during Virtual Sessions.
may be other option.

7.3. Test questions are sent thru FB Messenger for the learner to “Copy” and “Paste” and
have it answered and shall be sent back to the teacher within the allowed time given.
7.4 All Powerpoint presentations and other soft copies of learning materials shall be sent
thru E-mail and be saved in WPS of the mobile phones of the students.

7.5 Teachers shall deliver the context of each competency effectively so as to be able for
the learners to stay in focus.

7.6 Teachers are encouraged to motivate learners to continue practicing courtesy while
interacting during Online classes , Offline and Face-to-Face.

7.7 Teachers shall require learners to take down notes during Virtual Sessions.

7.8 All announcements or class advisories shall be written and sent thru FB Messenger.

7.9 Teachers shall ask parents/ guardians to regularly monitor the time of daily
attendance of learners in their classes.

7.10 Teachers shall ask parents/ guardians to regularly check Chatroom and WPS of
learners.

8. In case of Modular instruction that is for those who do not have the internet connection and
mobile phones, hard copies of modules and other printed materials shall be provided.

8.1 Modules/printed material swill be released every Friday.

8.2 Student shall get these during Face-to-Face.

8.3 Hard copies of module shall be brought home by the learners for them to study and
answer written Tests both short quizzes and Long Examinations.

8.4 Activity sheets, quizzes and long examinations shall be submitted at a specific date.

8.5 Submission of Answered Activity Sheets, Quizzes and Examinations shall be submitted
to teachers during face-to-face.

8.6 Social Distancing shall be applied if ever group of students happen to simultaneously
get their printed materials, answer sheets, quizzes or exams.

9. Projects shall be required in consonance with the competencies to be made at home within a
period of time. These are both applicable to all modalities.

9.1 Instructions to be applied in making project are in accordance with the modality.

10. Updates on Technicalities of Learning Delivery shall be continuing to satisfactorily ensure


effectiveness of the conduct of instruction under the New Normal environment.
