I.

VEHICLE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE LIST

A. Light Service (Every 5,000 kms)


Replace engine oil and filter
B. Light Service (Every 10,000 kms) - includes A Service, plus:
1. Check installation of driver's floor mat (Safety item)
2. Check for open Service Campaigns / Recalls
3. Rotate tires and check condition, e.g., tread depth
4. Set tire pressures to correct PSI
5. Check that all exterior light bulbs are functioning
6. Inspect front and rear brake components
7. Inspect and top off all fluid levels
8. Perform multi-point inspection with print-out
9. Check battery
Note: “Checking and inspection” includes correction of any minor issues found
C. Medium Service (Every 20,000 kms) - includes A and B Services, plus:
1. Inspect condition of drive axle boots, bearings, lubrication
2. Check condition of brake fluid, brake pads
3. Check transfer case and differential fluids
4. Check operation of cooling system and/or indication of coolant leak
5. Complete inspection of steering and suspension components
6. Complete inspection of exhaust system
7. Inspect air filter
8. Inspect wiper inserts / blades
9. Inspect cabin air filter (if applicable)
10. Lubricate propeller shaft (where applicable)
11. Inspect fuel lines and charcoal canister
12. Reset maintenance / tire pressure warning lights (where applicable)
13. Check battery

D. Heavy Service (Every 40,000 kms) - includes A, B and C Services, plus:


1. Replace air filter
2. Replace cabin air filter (if applicable)
3. Inspect ignition wires and distributor cap, spark plugs, other electrical c
4. Inspect condition of drive axle boots; replace as needed

5. Check condition of brake fluid, brake pads; replace as needed
6. Check transfer case and differential fluids; replace as needed
7. Check operation of cooling system and/or indication of coolant leak; repair as
needed
8. Complete inspection of steering and suspension components; realign wheels as
needed
9. Complete inspection of exhaust system; replace as needed
10. Inspect / replace wiper inserts / blades
11. Lubricate propeller shaft (where applicable); repair as needed
12. Inspect fuel lines and charcoal canister; replace as needed
13. Reset maintenance / tire pressure warning lights
14. Check / replace battery (as needed)

II. VEHICLE MECHANICAL REPAIR SERVICES

May be part of A, B, C and/or D Services or separate activities, to include use of OBD2


Diagnostic Trouble Codes
1. Tires - replacement and balancing
2. Brake System – minor e.g., brake pads replacement, and major repairs
3. Clutch repair / replacement (manual) e.g., clutch disc replacement
4. Engine – tuning including spark plug replacement, minor repairs and overhaul
5. Cooling system - radiator, water pump, hoses, others
6. Transmission (manual and automatic)
7. Drive train - minor and major repairs
8. Steering and Suspension Systems - minor and major repairs
9. Air Conditioning System - minor and major repairs
10. Body and Paint – minor and major repairs, collision, others
11. Others including minor / major repair of mechanical, upholstery, glass, trim, others

III. VEHICLE BODY AND PAINT (Collision Repair, Maintenance) To be discussed

IV. VEHICLE UPGRADES AND ACCESSORIES


Includes improvement of stock components, e.g., wheels, tires, audio / radio, other
features
